Has Sheffield been dismissed from Beech's team?

 

He did not play last week.

I don't think he was dismissed. The paper said he was on the sidelines in street clothes. I bet he was just on a one game suspension.

Heard he was suspended for "a violation of team rules" concerning an incident before last week's game. Will he play against Hendersonville? How long is the suspension?

word arround town is that he got caught smokin that grass after the pep rally last week. that means he has at the least a 30 day suspension which for him means the rest of the season because they will definately not make the playoffs.

Waterboy00 is right he did get caught doing something like that. Hats off to Coach Aric for standing up for the rules. That is a GREAT coach Beech has. It is nice to know rules are more important than a win.

It's a tragic thing to happen to such potential. As they say, "dance to the music, gotta pay the fiddler". Yeah, he and another player screwed up. Hate it for the team as well. Players have been giving all they've got this season, even though the record says otherwise. First time in many years I've seen a team get along as well as they have and have played with heart - none of this internal crap dividing the team. Yeah, it looks like they'll miss the playoffs this year - looks like the effect of Station Camp opening for this class is taking a toll on them. They'll recover - at least some of the underclassmen getting some experience under their belts. There's always next year.
