i myself will be driving from milan to see the game, being that the Dawgs aren't playing any competition this week. My prediction is the Stangs will regroup and win buy 4 td's......only to get their pride lowered again next week by the Dawgs!

since no one else will talk to you, i will jump in. if i was a milan fan, i would not want to witness the carnage in camden friday night when huntingdon gets done

i think it will be a good game boo weathers is a good rb but josh boyd is alot better because of his experience and will run all over huntingdon if they let him so my predictions 28 21 htown

boo weathers was a huge playmaker in a state championship game.. i'd take that big-game experience over boyd's..

 

boyd is a great back but i wouldn't say he's more experienced.

I would say Boyd has more experience at the RB position. Boyd has started every game since he was a freshman at RB, and he's a junior this year. I will agree and say that Boo has played in a lot bigger games, but how many games has he started in the backfield? Not as many as Boyd I would think.

it's a great feeling to be a fan of huntingdon and even have doubts if boo will be the offensive player of the game for huntingdon. there's so many dangerous weapons and half of them have yet to be used yet.

 

someone hounded on huntingdon about their lack of depth last week in the martin-westview game. i dont think depth is a problem at all, i just think that the starters weren't used to playing a full game. that was one of the bad things about having blowouts in the beginning of the season. many if not all of the starters didnt get to play more than half a game.

 

these next few weeks will be full games for them for sure. i think that the huntingdon coaches know exactly what to do. there are plenty of kids on huntingdon's team capable of having 100 yard games and plenty of players capable of making 20 tackles a game.

 

great coaching staffs know how to adjust when things aren't going right, just look at the lexington game after halftime. westview scouted the defense well and knew exactly what to do. now, i don't have doubts that the coaches are fixing the problems and the past has shown that they know how to fix these things.

 

i'm really happy for camden's revival of the program over there, but i dont think they have enough athletes or the mindset to knock off huntingdon. afterall, they see themselves as the underdogs in this game automatically, when truth is.. huntingdon is the underdog.

 

it'll be a good game either way..

 

the bad thing about high school football is that it's so unpredictable and i could come back and look at this post on saturday and wish i could take it all back if huntingdon loses. but i'm gonna go with my underdogs in this one.

 

34-14 (huntingdon missing one PAT... good two point conversion.. making 2 PATs.. and missing the final PAT)

I have to admit, you've been doing a little bit better recently with your comments, but this one was back to your old, dumb country bumpkin line of "Tennessee Trash" talk. You don't need to say a prayer for Camden. You need to get out of your chair, step over the coon dogs, leave the trailer, get in your rusty Ford Escort, and go pay your late phone bill, so you can keep your computer on and learn more about what not to say about young men who play their hearts out on Friday nights. Regardless if the team is Camden or not, you talk too much trash about the boys.

I doubt most people consider Huntingdon the underdogs in this one. They may be on paper, just because Camden is #2 and Huntingdon is #5, and I don't know how in the world we are #2, because honestly I believe there's a few teams behind us that are better than we are, and Huntingdon is one of them. But we all know that polls don't mean anything in high school. I'm not gonna predict a score on this one, if it's close I think Camden wins, if it's a blowout it will go Huntingdon's way. Either way, Carruth won't miss an XP, he is automatic.

Thanks for your prayers CBarkley but the were un-necessary....Camden played alot better game than anyone ever gave them credit for....if the stangs had come in undefeated instead of coming off their 1st embarrassing loss, this would have been a different game....After film review, the stangs got lucky when camden missed a few crucial blocks....I guarantee Ward won't let that happen again. Camden will be ready when we meet again in November!
