rollredroll
In an effort to seriously consider strength of schedule, record, and overall results against schedule, the following is a honest go at TN's top 25. Obviously arguable, but interesting nevertheless.... 825378555[/snapback] Pretty good list. A couple of thoughts: 1) I think Cookeville could be due some consideration, at least over Antioch. 2) Perhaps some of the smaller DI schools should get a little more credit. While one may rightfully have questions about how a smaller school can perform week-in, week-out, versus bigger schools, I don't think we can overlook the fact that Alcoa (2A) gave Maryville its best game to date, and CPA (1A) gave Riverdale its best game to date. redthunder6
Is this an AP poll or just one that you thought up. If you had thought of it, it is pretty good.

cav43
How did Antioch get in when Cookeville beat them, has a better record with one loss coming to a higher ranked team? sounds like bias sorry we are between nashville and knoxville and dont get the coverage but thats rediculous. (sorry I can't see the rankings while I'm posting) Riverdale beat them 65-20. CPA played Riverdale close (at Riverdale) for most of the game before losing 48-28, putting up the most points on Riverdale's defense in recent history. Say what you want about small schools and Riverdale's quality of play in each game, but CPA was in that game and Smyrna wasn't... hegotgame
this poll was definately a shock for me to see lebanon in the top 25 across the state but im glad it happened. the whole Lebanon-cookeville-antioch situation is pretty odd if you ask me b/c lebanon barely loses to antioch, lebanon barely beats cookeville and cookeville barely beats antioch. they all seem somewhat even to me. cookeville im guessing is top 30 no doubt.
