I'm not really seeing Clay beating g-ville... I mean I haven't really payed too much attention to Clay's record or g-ville for that matter either, but I know we gave Clay a nice loss to start the season off. Other than that I don't really know much about them. But I do know that g-ville give SC a run for their money every year so they have to be good. Either way I'm siding with Gordonsville in this one.

Neither side should be very cocky about this game. Clay hasn't put a real game together yet but is improving from what I hear. Gordonsville is having their worst year in a decade and lost to Clay last year in week 10 at home, so both sides had better believe the other can beat them if they don't work hard.

Clay will not beat Gordonsville and will not go to the playoffs. They will probably beat Mt. Juliet Christian. If Heritage can play Clay to 28-21, Gordonsville will kill Clay.

I have watched clay county and gordonsville play this year. Clay is pretty good on defense up front. BUT.... Gordonsville can and will throw all over them Dusty Ray should have a pretty big game I would imagine. CCHS needs to do alot better on Offense to be able to beat the tigers. Just my opinion..

this will be a close game and i think clay can pull it off........

If you want to do some score comparing, take it a step further. Clay gave up one TD to Watertown. Clay and Gordonsville both got killed by Friendship--no contest. Clay trailed Monterey 12-8 and had the ball with 2-3 minutes left in the game. Gordonsville did beat WH-Heritage by a wider margin than Clay. After Friday night, we can do some more score comparing.

 

Both Gordonsville and Clay have business to take care of before they play the last week.
