First things first. There are three rounds of playoffs before this game should ever be thought about. Now, last year's game was a completely different story. The Alcoa team wanted to play on Friday. We begged for them not to call it off but that is something completely different. This is the same Alcoa team with one more year to grow in the weight room and a 55-6 loss in their minds. They haven't even been talking about the boro mostly. They want a rematch with lipscomb and that is it. Hopefully, it happens because as a senior on last year's Alcoa team it would be great to see those guys finish what we started last year.

This a great thread, but forget about November 26 and cut to the real issue.

 

What about the 2011 Blue Cross Bowl 2A match-up between Gilt Edge High School in Tipton County and the new Townsend Magnet School. Even though these schools are still in the planning stages, they will both be powers in 7 short years.

 

I think it is apparent to anyone who keeps up with the state of junior pro football in this state that these 2 schools are destined to meet in the 2011 Blue Cross Bowl.

Both communities are loaded with talented 5th graders. If those kids will stay together and listen to their parents, the 2011 state championship awaits one of them.

 

So you guys who are living 3 weeks in the future need to get a life and start looking forward 7 years. It will be here soon.
