Spree1024
I saw where Briarcrest will be moving up to DII 3A next year, how will the defending state champs fair next year in their new division? Should be interesting....
itzme
I think the Saints will be competitive. The main difference will be that they will need to play great every week. There are no weeks off in the (soon to be) Elite Eight!
mmac23
Based on what I saw, I think Briarcrest will do fine. They have the athletes to compete, and I agree with itzme that the Saints will have to come ready to play each week. I don't see them moving up and being the top of AAA in 2005 as they were in AA this year, but they will adjust and be an opponent to recognize. Briarcrest's ability to have an overall record of .500+ in AA was never in doubt, and therefore, participating in the playoffs was almost certain. This is based on the number of times they have participated in the CB over recent years. By moving up to AAA, this will put more emphasis on not only their regular season scheduling, but I believe all AAA teams. It's a good addition and makes for an even more competitive division!
