MtJBears
I'm in shock..... somebody get out the smelling sause. I just can't imagine Central scoring just 18 points. What happened with Sara Williams. Her injury happened when? Glad to see the Lady Bears are winning.
Eddie
Williams did not play vs. Powell or in the opener vs. North Greene. She has a stress fracture. BTW -- MJ was a 58-49 winner over Walker Valley. They advance to the semifinals on Wednesday.
DZbettin
Well as we all expected, Wilson Central will be playing Jefferson County. Just in the losers bracket There goes the WC/MJ final you PROMISED MTJbears
MtJBears
I didn't promise a MtJ-WC finals.... I believe I said I'd love to see a MtJ-WC finals. First and upmost I am a Lady Bear fan. But I do pull for WC when they're not playing MtJ. I am disappointed but hopefully the Lady Bears can make the Finals. DZbettin
ok so maybe you didnt state that, but i remember you saying that MTJ and Wilson Central were way ahead of the rest of the state
MtJBears
Well WHEN PLAYING AT FULL STRENGTH I believe Wilson Central would have beaten Powell. And YES I did believe Mt. Juliet and Wilson Central were the TOP 2 teams in the state. Just ashame WC loses its inside game with the loss of Williams. Was bad enough when Antone quit right before the season started. So they had no depth to back up Williams. HEY, just a few weeks ago WC beat Powell 42-27 in a Bradley Tournament. So you can see what the loss of a key player can do. PantherFan14
You should quit making excuses for WC and give Powell credit for a 22 point win.

Eddie
MJ will play host Greeneville in the semifinals Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Central time. As far as the Central loss to Powell and how it happened, go back a few posts in this line and check the stats. 3-for-20 on three-pointers against a 2-3 zone makes it tough to score.
