Jackson Co. vs Hermitage Springs on Sat.

This game had the most fouls called in the history of basketball. I didnt get to the game till about 3 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter and both teams were already in the bonus. I think the final talley for the fouls was 35 against JC and like 26 against HS. I know JC had 4 players to foul out and HS had a couple. The high score of the game was not due to great shooting or it being a good game, it was a good win for JC but just a plain awful game.

yea the fouls were horrible the refs called stuff even when it didnt happen and im not jus whinin u can look at the tape they called a foul on one of the hs players under the basket when all the players were up toward the 3 point line none of the hs players were newhere near the person "who got fouled" ... and i mean a game w/ that many fouls come on :justwrestle: something has to be wrong ... and muffin i havent seen u at a single hs game u might have been there but i didnt see u adn until u watch us play dont be talkin bad bout us ... devilfanatic was u at the game i didnt see u i looked but i didnt see ya ....

No i was at the Clay Co. vs Van Buren Co. game, which turned into a good game towards the end with Clay Co. holding on to win, however it turned ugly after that with the players needing a police escort to leave the gym, they didn't even have time to get dressed. Very poor sportsmanship on the part of the Van Buren Co. I won't go into detail, but it wasn't good.

muffin you can't by a teams record to know how good or how bad they are, I was there and Hermitage Springs is better, I heard from some of the fans they had a post player not there which might have help, HS still has a ways to go before they are better it takes time, but you did predict the correct score, I was impressed with how hard they played and never quit, HS had a player who got hurt in the game and came back playing on one good leg hobbly around and gave it his all, when he came out at the end of the game, it looked like the coach huged him, not for sure this happen but looked like it, anybody else see this, Jackson also played hard and got up and down the floor, they are a young team and will be a lot better next year, what hurt this game was all the fouls called,

well muffin they way i see it u should go watch a game and try to be an hs fan for one nite and see what u think bout it ... as i member u were a fan once ... we might be bad but we play hard but u cant win a game when u have the other team and the refs against u so until u go to a game and see how it goes then u shouldnt say nething bout us

THANK YOU... yea one of our post players ..curtis hatcher... was not at the game ... which could have made a lot of dif .. and one of our players jimmy campbell did hurt his ankle i dont know alot of details about it but u could tell he was in pain but he did go back out and tried to hel the team out by givin it all he had ..good job jimmy.. jc is a good team and i agree they are young and will be better in the years to come but also like u said the fouls were outragous but it cant be changed so we have to live w/ the refs ...

Might have been a fan once,but you noticed I went on to greener pastures,and looking at a 4-13 record,with wins coming over Watertown by 1,Monterey by 1,Gordonsville by 5 and David Brainerd Christan, I think all I have to do is look at the schedule.

refs were terrible, but jackson co. had 33 total fouls called against them. J.C. led the entire game and they didn't want to foul. So, I don't believe the loss can be blamed on the refs. Both teams played hard, should be some good games when J.C. joins the district next yr.
