Great post Cobra!!! I have been saying that all year... It will really turn around TSU's season as well... Reiley proved what he could do vs. MTSU, netting 17 points on 5 treys...

As for Sparks, etc, the topic was TN HS kids in D-1... Sparks did not play in TN HS...

Thanks for the heads up, Jumpshot... didn't realize he was from R-E...knew he had been at a JC...

The line between Mid and High Major D-1 is blurring year by year, which is another reason to give Mid Major success's some hype... Ole Miss losing to Illinois State and Air Force shows this, as well as Tennessee losing to UT-Chatt and almost to Wofford... Many kids that are deserving of a higher spot, go Mid Major instead and help create this balance... Sparks is actually a great example of this: a Mid Major kid, who transferred and showed he is a star player on the best team in the SEC... A kid like Fisk could be playing High Major ball, but was overlooked: Lipscomb's gain...

Three ex-Midstate Ballerz had great nights last night...

-Justin Flatt, UT Martin, scored 12 points, playing 30 minutes in his second straight start...

-Boyd Copeland, Ga State, almost had a triple double, with 10 points, 9 assists, and 8 boards...

-Reiley Ervin, TSU, had 18 points and 6 assists in a career-high 36 minutes. Reiley has a chance at being a very special player on a loaded TSU squad...

Has anybody mentioned JaJuan Smith of McMinn County? He should be on there. He has really impressed the coaches so far and has emerged as the top defensive player on the team. His PT hasn't been as much the past couple of games as it had been but he has really turned some heads up in Knoxville.
