New state record for three's in a game (13)

I was watching the channel 6 news and it said that a player from gate city hit 13 three's in tonights game and scored 50 points, I didn't catch his name but gate city put up 107 tonight...congrats to this kid...does anyone know his name? and how he has been doing this year?

This may be a Virginia record, but the Tennessee record was set a few years back by a kid from Memphis who hit 25 in one game.

I think the kid's name was Taurean Moy, he played for Booker T. Washington. He had 80-something points in the game.

No, I'm not crazy - the kid scored 81 points and hit all of his team's threes. I believe it was a AA team out of Memphis - the kid was suspended from the team a few weeks later for substance abuse. His individual record was also the team record (I know because they broke our record of 23 threes set in 1997),

Taurean"T-Head" Moy of Booker T. Washington went 24 of 44 from three-point range,setting national records for both 3's made and attempted,and in the process scoring a Memphis record 83 points against Manassas.
