not at the white county game....at least I know Oakland didn't and neither did any of the students that went.  Things got heated during the third quarter when bowlcutt got a technical for hitting darius and then some fans said some things but after that security was held extremely tight.....only students from white county i talked to after the game were ones that came up to me when I was walking to my car and asked us how our free throw chant got started....they were nice about it and we headed on back to the boro.

Riverdale continues to roll, they won their 5th straight last night, and as i called, they did so in impressive fashion. And there are 2 great articles in today DNJ about my boys.

DNJ by Jonathan Long

When Riverdale's Ryan Denney went to the bench in the first half, Coffee County's players took notice - it was the only time they seem to know where he was the entire half as the Warrior guard dropped four first half treys.

"He brings such an enthusiastic level of play to us when he's on the floor," Riverdale coach Brandon Burks said. "He sparks us."

Riverdale (15-9) netted 10 treys on the night, while keeping Coffee County (13-10) at bay on the defensive end.

"I challenged them (Friday) night defensively, and they responded by playing one of the best defensive games of the year," Burks said.

Riverdale (15-9) - P. Smith 2, Lavender 7, Ryan Denny 16, Hartsfield 3, Mayfield 4, Kevin Smith 12, Thomas 4, Barrett 6, Burnett 1, Gore 3, Wilcox 3

The only bad thing is that i wasnt able to get to the game until the half so unfortunately i missed the ASSASSIN's onslaught becuase he scored all of his 16 points in the first half. Starters didnt play much in the second half and he i only saw him take one attempt in the second half. But the first half i believe he was 4-5 on treys (and the only one he missed was partially blocked) and 2-2 from the field. Also last night Jesse Mayfield made his first start of the year, i am going to try and figure out how many different starting lineups Riverdale has gone with this year. Kevin Smith came off the bench and netted 12.

There is another great article about my boy in the paper today. There is an article on the page B3 title TWO-SPORT STAR:, it is about Riverdale sophmore Scott Thomas, another good article.

    • Perhaps it is within the realm of possibility that the comprehension of my discourse, both by yourself and others, may be circumscribed by the boundaries of intellectual acumen. Might one contemplate this notion from such a perspective? Allow me to clarify that my intent does not lean towards disparagement, save for instances where provocation is directed towards myself or the esteemed troupe of the Trousdale County Yellow Jackets who proudly find domicile upon the hallowed grounds of CREEKBANK. In contemplation of the candidates under discussion, it is conjectured that individuals such as Gregory, Woodmore, Vetetoe, Eden, Hackett, and Cothron may emerge as contenders. Regrettably, it is deemed improbable that Shoulders shall express interest in this pursuit. Speculation arises regarding the potential candidacy of BJ West, albeit the implications of familial ties with Lafayette introduce complexities to such a scenario. The enigma of Dr. Clint's deliberations looms large, fraught with the weight of a formidable decision yet to be made.
    • My kind sir, you seem to be lost within the time space continuum having traveled from the 16th Century or you aspire to hide your true intelligence by masking your language with that of the great playwright. You know good and well, your commentary takes your fellow comrades hours to decipher what you are really saying and most of them are likely left questioning whether you have insulted them or find them to be in your favor. I offer you some advice. In my travels through this area of the country, it is best to speak slow and with a twang and you don't annunciate  words to their fullest. Your points will be clear then!  Any names been mentioned around town as Actual Applicants to this job? Seen several post mentioning individuals, but I haven't heard of any of them except for Shoulders. Does he have ties to TC?  Have amy of the other names mentioned ever been in the HC position before?
    • They’re building something special there. They have 4 Varsity games scheduled & 5 JV. They are trying for a 5th Varsity game. Beat them now because they will be good in the future. They are building a football field there I think but the rich pricks of Farragut won’t let them get lights so they are possibly looking at property to build a stadium & field with lights
