There are a lot of good single A teams out there.In northeast you have Unaka with the best defenceive pressure I have seen from a team this year.A little ways south you have Cosby they are playing good basketball the last two weeks.Temple is always a power house.Look at last years state tourney no one gave Unaka a chance.When it gets as far as murfreesboro anything can happen.but it takes good teams like I named to get there.

Temple is the favorite to win state -- but they can't focus on that right now.

They just need to finish out the regular season and keep working on their game -- one at a time. I have no doubt that they will make it to the 'Boro -- but it's not going to come easy when you're the #1 ranked team in the state. Everyone they play is going to be looking to knock them off. So, they just need to play hard and use their God-given talents to take them all the way.

When i saw unaka play earlier this year in the TTU tourny, they didnt look anywhere close to the same team they were last year. It may have just been that game, but thats my opinion.

Unaka is not anything like they were last year.

They still have a pretty good ball team -- but I really don't think they have what it takes to win state. But I have been wrong before. I guess you can't count them out -- but it's doubtful.

The team to win state is the team who win district, regional and substate and all three games at the state. This could be anyone. teams fall apart and some learn more and play a little better each and every week they get closer to the state tour. I would love to see temple and unaka go for the play off again in a few weeks. GO RANGERS

are you serious? you have to be joking. they cant compete with the big teams. you must be a DA fan. there is no way they have a chance of winning state. no offense, they just dont have the talent that it takes to win state. do they even have any stand out players?

a team doesnt need standout players to be a good team i mean take middleton for example their team is the reason why they are one of the favorites to get to state and most people cant name 2 people off of their team i kno nothing about DA but u cant discount them because they have no big name stars
