The team to win state is the team who win district, regional and substate and all three games at the state. This could be anyone. teams fall apart and some learn more and play a little better each and every week they get closer to the state tour. I would love to see temple and unaka go for the play off again in a few weeks. GO RANGERS

You can say that again homecourt advantage certainly has it advantages at cosby that was for sure. Sure hope we can repay them at Unaka. in Substate

Well my prediction wasn't missed by far I said 59 to 39 was 60 to 46. Unaka did not play there best or at least some of the player did not do there best. Hostclaw, and Reeves did fairly well. Macinturf did a great job. This team needs to start playing as a team. I heard this a lot on here last year. Play as a team. They need to start this soon if they are going to get back to a state play off game. These boys are very good, when they play as a team lets get back to team play boys and show some of these idiots on here that it can be done again. GO RANGERS.

well guys I believe any team can beat anyother team on any given night. Temple lost to Macallie 75 to 57 I believe this is temple only loss but they have not had a real difficult schedule. Unaka beat McCallie 54 - 49 and Pickett co. beat Unaka by 3. So there is a possiblity that Temple may lose. Any team can have a off night, but what really counts is at the end. I believe Temple has already peaked and may lose to Pickett. Pickett co. is just starting to peak. So good luck to the good old country boys.

They were saying all these things last year about this time that you guy would never go to state, this just shows you all thing are possible, you guys just peaked at the right time, keep praying and you will do it again. I would say temple will win, but if they are playing a pickett co. they will (pickett) there is a lot of home cookin down there, refs are a little one sided down at pickett co.

On Heritage schedule with game scores posted they lost all three of there games last week and scores were not that high. Which Heritage team are you talking about.

After getting embarrased last year,Unaka will have to come ready to play this weekend against pickett county.What is everyones predictions on this game?I believe they know what they have to do,Which is shut down bailey.If they shut down bailey it will be a great game.I say unaka by 5.... thumb

Unaka beat clay co. eariler in the season by 23 points. clay co beat FRA by 10 or 11 I think. So Unaka has a very good chance to make it to the final 4. And if they come up against Temple. Temple beat them by 5. Temple lost twice to McCallie and Unaka beat McCallie. so don't count Unaka out yet. GO RANGERS ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this was a close game from the beginning as I knew it would be. But at the half I believe Unaka had 7 fouls to Cloudlands 2. Second half was about the same. The refs did make some bad calls but on both sides. I reviewed my video and the ref was blowing the whistle just as the buzzer was sounding actually a bout a split second before the horn. They (refs) are so into the game watching and calling they just don't stand there waiting till the last second to blow the whistle for no reason. Cline was fouled and that is what the ref saw. It may have been at the end of the game but he had blown his whistle before the horn started going off. What if Cloudland had got fouled at the last second and had a chance for a foul shot. would you just say, it's the end of the game, and not let Cloudland shot the foul shot. No I don't think so this could have went either way, and I hope Cloudland and Unaka play again. So just have the attitude that Mark Byrd had wish congratulations and go on. That young man (Mark Byrd) has the best attitude and sportsmanship that I have every seen. I don't know him personally but he seems like a very good kid, some adults I think could watch him and learn a few lessons.
