Station Camp is quick, but DLs guards have shown that they have improved. You know that DL is going to go inside , they have been all year and do almost every year. Can Station Camp stop them? I don't think they can. I don't remember them having much size last time around. Most teams have not been able to completely shut down Mayes and Brock in the same night. MLK did a good job, but then again they are MLK and DL did play their worst game against them.

DL really came out and turned it around the 2nd half .. as you can see in the box score. They came out and figured out they could score against Station Camp , and then they began playing defense. Station Camp's best player, Jones #00, got his 3rd foul early in the 3rd. The coach kept him in of course because he was killing DL. Then, he fouled another DL player with his body on a shot .. his 4th foul. Then he lost his composure. He yelled at the ref, and the ref gave him a technical. He was gone before the 3rd quarter ended. The Station Camp fans and coach of course were upset, but the refs had put up with Station Camps whining the entire game. If you don't believe me, try sitting down on their offensive end for the 1st half. Jones had 23 points. Then, late in the game, Manning fouled with a second or 2 to go in the game with Station Camp down by 4, 64-60. He yelled something or argued w/ the ref, he got Ted up. Station Camp completely lost their composure once DL began to roll.

Some stats for the game ...

Pharr - 20 points

Mayes - 12 points, 6 rebounds

Brock - 11 points, 10 rebounds (and an really nice dunk to put DL up by 4 with less than a minute to go ... HUGE shift in momentum as the crowd was going nuts)

Solomon - 11 points (9/12 on free throws -- clutch)

Mallernee - 8 points

James - 6 points
