CBHS will be a good test for Brentwood, and although they are Div II, if Brentwood can play with them, Brentwood might be all everyone says they are and until Brentwood beats someone someone of CBHS's caliber, they aren't the best team in the state hands down. In fact in all the divisions, the State Champions are the best until someone dethrones them. So , I agree Brentwood will be tough, but right now they can't be rated ahead of any State Champions

Okay, Okay, Okay,....so the big three everyone are talking about are farragut brentwood and mcminn county(sorry if i dont include your team). Farragut lost a few and Mcminn lost a few. Why is brentwood even being mentioned on here? lets be serious they dont matter. The past few years the teams have been from knoxville. Mcminn county is not in knoxville but their players have competed and flourished in knoxville. So the big match should be between farragut and McMinn County. Please leave your buddies and/or sons out of the debate and post about the best there is. I may show a biased but, my opinion is valid this year. and i am a bit tipsy... so brentwood maybe later and to mcminn and farragut, "may the best team win!" ha ha ha yuengling is ssoooo good.

I think that Brentwood will be one of the best teams in state, as much as it pains me to say it. They lost very few seniors from last and are still quite deep. They do seem to choke late into the season though. If they can over come that they have a very good chance at state.

brentwood barely lost anyone and still have almost all of their best players. i really think this is thier year unless they choke in the tournament again

When talking about the Brentwood High program there is no "I Think" or "Maybe" they are the best. They will dominate over anybody who tries to challenge them. Everybody just sit back and take the whooping Brentwood is going to give out.

Considering the bias e-burt has expressed in almost every other board, it pretty much negates whatever is said. Brentwood will be solid. Its too extreme to say they'll be the best.

for the people talkin about mcminn how do u think losing Nic Shaver will effect McMinn..he was a big part of their offense.

i agree slack and kimball are both exceptional and price is one of the deadliest forwards around. who will anchor the defense with santiago gone? and are there ne potential weak spots in the team?

Pat hinshaw will anchor the D. The only potential weak spot is defense, but i think they will be fine with Hinshaw, Axley, Stansell, and not sure on the other defender.
