There must be something in the water at Riverdale because Aaron Smith is no slouch at faking signs either, and is the absolute best at tamping the homeplate area.

Coach Dustin Smith of the Murfreesboro Diamondbacks Summer program gets my vote for best "coaches physique in Tennessee" no one fills out a uni like ole Dustin...you know what they say ....like father (Powers) like son (D. Smith)!

All I know is that he would have to give the decoys because he could never remember the real ones. At one of his jobs, belt was bunt, hat, hit and run, and shirt, steal and he never figured them out. He is however one of the best brick throwers I have ever seen. Ask him how he broke a fungo hitting infield...sawed himself off, broke his fungo, cut his hand and had to have his thumbs surgically re-attached.

Let Gallatin's Scott Hunt take off his hat. It makes me wear my Oakleys at night games. That can decoy signs any day. Bowers is an awesome guy. I guess it's something about those Cumberland guys. 2005 is offically here. Breakout the knuckle sauce and open those new boxes of hand gernades!! thumb

XBOX & ONLOOKER, are you both nuts? When Hunt and Bowers hit infield, it looks like bombs over Baghdad. Scott has done rubbed the hair off his head and I will agree he can blind a man with his hat off at midnight. Both are the kings of the "leave its", those fly balls that reach half way to the outfield and the infielders have to chase. Both have to wear batting gloves because during their playing days they were sawed off so much, chain saw companies wanted them to do endorsements. They both play catch like they are cops...always handcuffing you. By the way, Bowers looks like he has Chewbacca in a headlock when he wears a three button polo shirt.

the glare from Hunt's head extends as far east as cookeville and as far west as Shackle Island. I heard NOAA thought there were UFO's in the sky last May during a game at Hendersonville.

You know REDSMAN has trouble reading, may ought to give him a call. I did receive second degree burns from coaching with him on a sunny day when he take his hat off and rub his dome. Litigation is forthcoming. JD, Ihate to open that can of worms we often do with him, but I think he is scared!

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
