Any one want to put together a Pre-Season All State Team?

Ok... see if any one agrees or disagrees w/ this

 

Attack

Dan Gibson (MUS)

Ryan Burns (MBA)??? is he playing?

Penn Bradford (McCallie)

 

What other attackman are out there?... Anyone have any ideas on Midfield, Defense and Goalie?

First off, it's Penn Brafford, and he was the top attackman for McCallie last year. He didn't get as much credit as he deserved because of Clint, but he'll be very good this year.

 

As far as all-state, Gibson, Burns, Brafford, and the top guys from CBHS and Farragut should all get it at some level.

 

At middie, Sawyer, the two kids from MBA, Abernathy, and Hughes, Stephens, and Gregor from McCallie. I don't know enough about the rest to say, but those guys are all solid.

I think Crumbo from MBA might be the guy your referring to. I think the LSM from Farragut coming back is supposed to be a player. I think other than attack, things are pretty wide open this year...especially at goalie.

I think Rainer is definitely the best returning goalie since MBA and McCallie lost their starters. I'm not sure if CBHS is returning their goalie, but if so, he should be all right too.

I haven't heard anything about defense, and think MUS lost their whole starting D. So I have no clue who is going to step it up. However all of MBA's defence is returning. You never know.

yeah no doubt Dan Gibson (MUS), Ryan Burns (MBA if he plays), Penn Bradford (McCallie) are most deff some of the top attackmen in the state and no doubt the Rainer is the best goalie. Middies........thats gonna be a strong position all over the state this year

Guys, dont forget about Hunter Armistead, the middie from MBA. He made first team all state last year as a sophmore, and im pretty sure hes gotten alot better over the summer and off season.

Oh he has, I played with him this year at one of MBA's summer lax camps when all of the MLL players were there, like Chris Rotelli, Tillman Johnson, etc.

James Banker, Ben Turk, and Grapkowski (?) from Farragut have to be some of the front runners for defense. I agree that Ranier is the most obvious choice for returning keeper.
