I just received a fax from TSSAA that said every wrestler will have to pass a hydration test before weigh-ins each day of the state tournament. Is this crazy or what? I guess this is where they find out who is cheating and who is not. By the way, they are not charging for the test this time.

They can implement whatever they want. If you fail hydration then you are out. It is crazy. My kids are drinking water in class as we speak. Check your fax machine.

No fax from TSSAA. I am a coach and don't work at the school, but have called to double check. Are you sure that fax you claim you got wasn't just for Kenwood wrestlers?

No. TSSAA already has a copy of each wrester's sheet who qualified.

CHSCOACH, Think what you want. Call me and I will read the fax to you. I was as shocked as you are. Plus, they wouldn't be scared to death if they were not cutting too much weight. That was the idea for this program in the first place, right. Also, from what I understand, some wrestlers have already been kicked out of the tournament because they wrestled Regions at a weight that was below their minimum.

Superman2002, think whatever you want. Everyone will make weight who has been living by the new rules. I'm sure you and yours have nothing to worry about.
