Tomorrow night's game against Hickman County brings the 2004-2005 regular season to an end for Lawrence County. Being the last home game, it will also be the night when Wildcat and Lady Cat seniors are honored for all the hard work they have put into making LC basketball great.

The Wildcat cheerleaders have two seniors, Kim McCune and Courtney McCune. Both of these young ladies have brightened ballgames over their four years at LCHS. These girls are great cheerleaders, as well as displaying great attitudes and being wonderful young ladies. Good luck Kim and Courtney in all you do! Thanks for all the times you have kept the fans cheering!

Thank you so much!! I've LOVED cheering at LCHS more than anything! It's been a blast! We have had some hard times as a team(losing Hayely as a cheerleader but also as a best friend) and we've grown stronger through them! We have truely accomplished so much as a team this year (Camp champs, State Champs and competing in Gatlinburg in March)and it's been a blast! I'm going to miss it! Not only as a team but I've been so proud of helping out with freshman cheerleading also! They have accomplsihed more than any other freshman team I've ever helped! -I'm planning on trying out for cheerleading at Cumberland University in April. I went to a cheer clinic there this past Sat. and learned a lot! So I'm hoping I can continue to do something with the ability God has blessed me with! Cheering at LCHS wouldn't have been half as fun without the support of all the fans that cheer us on game after game! No matter where life leads me, my heart will always be at LCHS! Thanks so much for your support!

    • Best-of-three sectional series vs East Robertson at home starting Wednesday.  They put us out last year at this point.  Go Pirates!!
    • I don't believe they have anyone that is surbers caliber but a decent staff overall.
    • Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?
    • Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
