Does anone know if Collierville's lacrosse team has improved any from last year? I know that they lost Ryan Murphy(defense) and Andrew Thornberry(middie) to graduation. They should still have Austin Packer (defense) and Brian Holmes (middie/attack) to take some spots. Hopefuly it's more popular this year.

What can you expect from a bunch of guys who just started playing two years ago. Hopefully they have and soon will improve.

I am not denying the fact that they are new to the game and that i think they will be better in a few years, but the problem they have is there are no feeder programs because there is not much lacrosse below the high school level!!!!

Yes collierville beat west knox, but that was only because they took out a few people in a fight. And the ref screwed it up because he let their goalie back in after he got ejected in the fight. They play dirty. west knox is still pretty good. And also in that game they only played seniors.

Sounds like you guys play some classy lacrosse in Knoxville. :D

 

(checks rule books) nope doesnt say anything about not being allowed to play only seniors, hmmm must be a conspiracy.

Hey Collierville has some good guys on the team, raw talent. Good athletes. On e plays right now for the University of Cincinnati team, currently ranked second in the nation. And I mean PLAYS!, not this I'm on the team stuff, actually gets out there and rolls around in the dirt for a loose ball. And I play with some of the best guys in the league, and I came from the worst team in the Memphis area. So give Collierville acouple of years and they will be up there.

      Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?

      Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
