During UT's winter camp UT coach said 2.4 is what fastest player for USA team runs. Good speed for college is 2.5 to 2.6. Florida State coach at winter coaches meeting in Nasnville said she had 5 to 6 players that was 2.5 to 2.7.

Speed can be different from what side of plate you are timed from.

Anybody been timed at a NFCA camp- How did they take the times(right side or left)

It depends which side you normally hit from. If you're a left than they clock you from the left, and if you're a righty then they clock you from the right.

they BOTH play for the TN Xplosion in the summer.. and they are a great asset to the team.. sara bein the leadoff hitter is almost always sure to get on base even on a sac bunt. chelsea.. is a great catcher with tons of speed and they both will have great high school careers.. and beyond..
