Northeast vs. Dickson County

This is the game that everyone expected coming into the season ... should be a great championship game! Dickson County went undefeated through the season but Northeast is on a roll and are hosting the tournament. Northeast's Pfaff (Lipscomb Signee), Drake Reed (Austin Peay signee), and Mike McGraw (7 3's last night) should carry Northeast - while 10-AAA MVP Corey Pflieger (Rice signee) will lead Dickson County. I have to stay with a Clarksville school and pick host Northeast tonight.

 

The loser of this game will likely have to play Wilson Central on Tuesday in the region tournament at Wilson Central - a game that I don't think NE or DC can win. The winner will most likely play Gallatin, which I think is a very winable game for both teams.

NE wins by 2 in dramatic fashion..Dickson Co comes back down 8 with less than a minute to go and has a chance to foul at the end but never could get anyone. NE missed a ton of free throws at the end to keep Dickson in the game. Dickson got off to a fast start but NE chipped away at the lead little by little. NE did a good job on Corey and contain the penetration.. Dickson did not shoot the ball well and the Briggs kid came up big for NE as Drake picked up his 4th foul late in the 3rd.

DC over Wilson Central by 3

Clarksville vs. Beech...???
