What is everybodies thoughts on this region. Who do you think will win the region?

Jackson Co. (21-10) vs Station Camp (11-12)

David Lipscomb (27-4) vs York (14-20)

Humm Fogg (24-5) vs Smith County (21-12)

Upperman (24-7) vs Macon Co. (11-12)

I am going to go with Jackson Co., David Lipscomb, Humm Fogg, and Upperman

With David Lipscomb vs Humm Fogg in the championship game and David Lipscomb winning the region.

We get a treat on Monday.  There will be 5 games.  :)White Co. will host Shelbyville in the first round of the Reg 4 AAA tourney at 7:00.  B)  Reg 4AA games scheduled at or before that time will be moved up.  WLIV had the first AA game at 2:30. :)

It's a treat, except for those of us that are working regular jobs, and trying to get to the games also... 5 games in one day?!?!??!?!?!

Who decided to put extra games from outside the region in the middle of the others? If I want to watch the teams from my home district, I'm stuck there from 3pm until 11?

Ain't it great. I put out three or four roles of hay for my laydies and then go to see the best girls Bball games, 5 in one night.

It seems that AAA does things different. In Reg. 4AAA, the top two teams out of district play, get to play at home the first round. Not much different from the first round of district in 8AAA, games are played on the higher seed court.

This is insane!!! They should try to secure somewhere else to play this tournament if there was any chance of this happening! Watcher, I wish you could pull some strings and get this Region back over at Tech. My Junior year of high school Tech hosted the District and the Region tournament and it was great! White County is a fine gym and all, but more than likely one team from 8AA will be playing at 9:30 P.M. because I am sure they won't make White County wait that long to play. Well it doesn't matter anyways, if we (Macon County) catch the 9:30 game at least we could say we were the last 8AA team left standing!!! lol

    • Wow I haven't been keeping up with softball had no idea.Been keeping up with baseball and we are slowly fading there.I will check it out!!Thx
    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
