My son and I were discussing teams the other night, and I mentioned a big guy that played down low for York Institute, I think he was a senior 2 years ago. I was thinking he won the district mvp, but my son couldn't even remember him playing.... any York fans out there that can help me? Thanks! George

must not have been the same thought on the minds of the refs for the last game of the night... Upperman/Maco Co didn't end until 10:00... Upperman was up by 15 with 2 minutes left, and the refs started blowing the whistle on every possession

From what I understand, with the addition of the White County team hosting a playoff game Monday, the schedule would have called for games being played at 3:00, 4:30, 6:00, 7:30, and 9:00 at White County. I haven't been around TN basketball long enough to know if there were any other reasons for the change, but if I'm going to watch the games, I really don't want to be there from 3 until midnight. It's a treat, except for those of us that are working regular jobs, and trying to get to the games also... 5 games in one day?!?!??!?!?! Who decided to put extra games from outside the region in the middle of the others? If I want to watch the teams from my home district, I'm stuck there from 3pm until 11?

Sleeper got hurt(knee?) last week, final game of the season, won't be back at all for the tournaments... the team is having to adjust to her not being in there...

You have the times right, but I'm pretty sure you have the games reversed. It's LA/Jackson at 6:30 Upperman/Smith at 8:00

Smith Co went to Dekalb without 6 players, at least 3 who really help off the bench... game went 3 overtimes, 2 of which Dekalb had to make shots with no time on the clock to tie the game again... fouls finally caught up with Smith Co, sending 3 of the 5 starters to the bench... the final OT had 3 freshmen/sophmore players on the court, final score Dekalb Co 77, Smith Co 71... The rematch should be another exciting game... the game is at Smith Co... Dekalb comes in second in the district behind Livingston, with a 6-1 district record... Smith Co is 4th in the district, with a 3-4 record, but the 4 loses are by an average of 4 points... Smith Co has had their share of heartbreaking games this season, especially the last 3 district games... 6 point loss at Dekalb in 3OT, 3 point loss to district leading Livingston at home, and the 2 point at the buzzer loss on the road last Friday at York... I'm looking for a turn of fortunes at home tonight... I'll say... Smith Co wins 55-50 in another nail biter...

Is this still only for Plus members? Anyone that knows me, knows I have a ton of stats from all the games I've kept score at... but if I can't put them in until the season is over...

I'm in Cookeville, was listening to the game on the car radio at lunch... came in at the half... about 2-3 minutes later I got to my computer and logged on here, saw they were doing radio broadcast online... and heard the last 30 seconds of the half.. so the online broadcast must be a little delayed...

anyone know the time of the game? We'll be coming back home, wouldn't mind stopping by and watching another great game! LA need a bookkeeper for the game?
