and the pairings are:

1) East Robertson v. 4) DCA

2)McEwen v. 3) Goodpasture

3) Houston CO. v. 2) CPA

4) White-House Heritage v. 1) Ezell

 

but what are the times for those games?

White House Heritage plays Monday at 5:30.

East Robertson plays Monday at 8:30

Houston County plays Tuesday at 5:30.

McEwen plays Tuesday at 8:30.

McEwen really messed up by no getting the one seed. I do not think they will make it out of region.

semi's are on Wed - 530 and 8:30 with finals on Thurs @ 8

Moose, McEwen needs to take it one game at a time, as you all do. The first two games of regions are the most important. You gotta just focus on winning the game ahead of you, not already thinking about the region championship game. All the teams left now are good so anyone can beat anyone. You never know, Heritage may be more than you expecting.

Goodpasture and McEwen will be a great game with the Puckett - Frey matchup

 

Heritage can beat anybody on any given night and could pose trouble for Ezell...

 

East should go pretty strong with an inside-out game with DCA....

 

Houston County will be outmanned against CPA but still can very easily out gun them...

 

Strong field should be a good tournament....

Though I haven't watched as much 9A ball this year, I will go with what i have seen.

 

#1 East Robertson(10A)vs #4DCA(9A)

East has really been playing well together here of late. They have a very strong inside and outside game and are very well-coached and do alot of things right. though losses in the semi and cons. game of the 9a tournament, Dca has been playing pretty competative. They have loss 5 of there last 6 games(2 to CPA, 2 to Goodpasture, one to FRA)by 19 combine points(less than 4 points a game).

East is very solid and will be a tough upset to pull.

 

#2 Cpa(9A) vs. #3 houston County10(a)

CPA plays a very competative schedule and is a very good team. They play very good pressure defense. Houston county is a pretty good match up for them with pretty solid ball handelers and very flashy team.Houston County must play strong defense and defend the three ball. They must also get some scoring from the inside and Bell hitting the three ball. They must contain Sikes. CPA fast pace game is the way that Houston County likes to play and they must get more fast break points and shoot the ball well agaisnt the zone.Looks as if it will be a pretty good game...Who will be the deference maker...Sikes or Bell?Will Warren for housto County be back?

 

#2 McEwen(10a) vs #3 Goodpasture

Another great matchup. Mcewen must shoot better than they did in the championship and must get some production out of other players other than Puckett. Slow pace game is both teams way of life, and unlike the cpa Hc game this one should go at a much slower pace than it. Pasture must find a way to get puckett out of his game.

 

#1 Ezell vs. #4 White House Heritage

Another great game. Will Miller be back for Heritage...And will he be effective at all? without him Heritage could and will really struggle stopping anyone inside. With him healthy it could be a very good game. Don't forget that they were co-chaps on the year in 10 a and beat both Mcewen and East and Houston county Twice. Ezell is pretty darn good and should get miller in foul trouble (if he plays) and will have a field day underneath. They must also stop HIll and taylor Jarell.

 

 

This should be a really good tournament. It really wouldn't surpirse me at all if there was an upset on every seed. a 3 beating a 2 a 4 beating a 1. Each game should be a pretty good game and is winable for both teams.

I heard Miller wasn't playing for Heritage. Also I see an all Dsitrict 9A region championsip with Ezell vs. CPA.
