The two #1 seeds Giles Co. and Waverly did exactly what most everyone thought they would do and defeated the #4's Cheatham Co. and Loretto and did so handily. Where things get interesting in Region play is the games that are played on Tuesday evening. That is when teams that are pretty evenly matched lock horns. I would say yhay is the reason that we are seeing such differing opinions on the Harpeth/Page game and Lewis Co./Sycamore games. These two games will give us a better idea of which district has better teams. Its like bowl season in football where the debates are decided as to which conference is stronger SEC or Big 10 when they play on the field. The decision will be answered tonight as to which district is stronger or whether they are pretty well equal. The place to be is Page High School.
