CAK to take state

Good point, Harvo. There's no way you can tell who is gonna win state at this point. CAK is a good team, but so many other things have to happen first before they can even consider thinking about winning state. The first and only thing on their mind at this point is University School on Monday.

CAK is balanced, thats what makes them dangerous. You take away inside they kill from outside and vice versa. They are fun to watch, They showed good sportsmanship tonight against Rockwood too.

CAK has had a great season. Coach Darden has led teams to the state before back when he was at Rule High(Fulton's zone now). University High is not as good as Wartburg or Rockwood and possibly others from region 2. CAK has an awesome chance to make the state, but I seriously doubt that they could beat a Temple, Pickett, CPA, etc....but you never know...they are extremely talented for a single A team....Novikoff is the key......great season either way....

Will they make it to state? Yes. Will they win it all, we'll see. They will play some tough teams. I don't think Novikoff has been challenged by a player his height this season and he will see some guys his size or bigger in state. By the way. did he win Region Tourn. MVP?

Yes, he did win MVP, and he did it playing against Hackler from Rockwood, who is 6'6" (Hackler had 9 points in the game, none of which came inside except a wide open break away dunk). People knock Novy for bad D, but I don't agree with anyone who says that.

Hackler is nowhere near 6'6. I've played against him for three years and I'm 6'6 and he might be 6'4, but I would say 6'3. Novikoff is good though, I'm not knocking him. I'm just saying he will play players his size or bigger at state.

do you remember when they played earlier this year. temple won by like 20 and it was about 30 until temple put there subs in and cak left there starters in to get the score closer???????????????
