Buddy Wiggleton was let go as the Henry County coach this week, despite a above-.500 career record, state tourney appearance in '98 and regional appearances every year.

Probally one of the dumest moves they will be making...also the soccer coach Brian Belong is gone too. He did not have his tenure either. He use to work with the Bethel soccer teams also. Like to see who they will replace with. Good luck to both those men. Both very good coaches. They actually know what they are doing on the floor/field.

Good luck, Henry County, finding coaches to rotate into these positions. Henry County rotates their principals in and out of positions quite often. This really builds stability in a school. Coaching applicants, beware. If they rotate you into a position, they will rotate you out.

Any idea who will get the job? I figure Henry Co. graduate, Grove coach, Renee Lassiter will get it - she is a great coach - hope they treat her right...

HCHS Girls Coach was let go from Coaching. Will remain as teacher.

A lot of coaching vacancies in the lesser talked about sports at school right now both head and assistant levels. Rumor has it that the boys BB coach will be given another year. HCHS did not want to fire both boys and girls coach in same year.

Maybe they flipped a coin, who knows?
