MASE going to have to hit the portal if they are going to compete in 2A. They barely beat a below average Peabody team last year. McKenzie beats them 99/100 times last year
Warriors end spring practice with a 30-7 win over Pisgah, AL with 8 min quarters. (Over the last 3 years Pisgah has advanced to the semis twice and quarters once.)
Lots of pieces to the puzzle still to be added this summer but all in all the Warriors look pretty good to only be returning a handful of starters.

Columbia Central Lions baseball defeated #Nolensville 2-1 in opening region game tonight. Knights score their run in the B1 and were up 1-0....til 4th inning. Two CHSLion seniors Kwan Sims and Aiden Saum each drove in a run to give Columbia the lead and hurler Lane Sharp did the rest. The senior allowed 1 run, a homer in the first, 5 scattered hits while striking out 9 Nolensville batters.
The Lions have won 8 of their last nine and will face the winner of the Lincoln County/Independence game. The Region 5 winner will "host" Region 6 runner up on Wednesday May 14 in the Sectional for a chance to advance to the state tournament. The loser will travel to Region 6 winner.
Columbia Lions will have a rematch with host Lincoln County a 2-1 walk-off win in the B7 against Independence (at 12 Noon Saturday for Regional Championship.)
