TheRealTruth
Mickey Armstrong steps down after 5 years at the helm at Gallatin High School. He stays as golf coach and looks to focus more on family and teaching. Wish him the best! With that said, Green Wave football assistant head coach Mark Wilson has been named Gallatin's head baseball coach. He was a baseball coach previously at GHS under Jerry Joslin and has head coaching experience elsewhere. He is an excellent teacher, mentor, motivator, and christian man. The baseball team has a bright future ahead with several good young players, and Coach Wilson is an excellent choice to lead them.

SOUTHERNFRIED
Looks like Lebanon is in the market for a new head coach already. Sad, he was/is a great coach, too bad about the health problems the man has faced this year. Praying for him to one day regain his health. SOUTHERNFRIED
Mt. Juliet High position is open. Jim Carter resigned to take the Goodpasture job. By my count the following have all received or will be receiving new head baseball coaches this summer: Lebanon White House Goodpasture Mount Juliet Gallatin Barren County Ky did I miss anyone?....I know we need a new girls basketball coach in Portland...just hope he can help in baseball as well lol...This is a lot of good coaches leaving good programs. Well at least 4 of the 6 have a history of being good, if not not great, and one was a phenomenal program.
