3 weeks till 2014 kicks off. What's your thoughts?

I don't see any powerhouses in there...CA maybe, they have by far the best quarterback around, a true college prospect

Well, preseason polls are that, preseason polls...but, both CA and WC are in there, so the 'football world' expects quite a bit from them!

Proly can expect the same results this year from this Region as last year. Except WC sounds a little stronger, CA & MP about the same and Loretto sounds maybe the same, maybe a tad weaker from reading post.

 

MP and C-wood both may struggle a bit this year under new program changes with new coaches at the healm.

Always gotta be sarcastic, just because your Trojans are going to be at the bottom of the pack again this year you don't have to be down on everybody else.

Does any one know when Summertown leaves the JV era and starts their Varsity games? May not make a huge impact right away but will be an extra dynamic in the scheme of things before long in this Region.

I thought I read somewhere that it was '15, but I didn't know for sure. Figured I'd through it out there to get confirmation. Pretty sure they fall into District 11.

It was supposed to be this year but they backed out and bumped it to next year.

Nope. As of now, the T$$AA will have the districts combined back together to form Region 5A. I'm not sure why it went from 6 to 5, but that's what they are planning for the 2015 season.
