I would play JV entire game. Would be horrible if a starter had an injury. I know you have to play these games but they are hard to plan for and tough to get excited about if you are a player. Adamsville by 50 only because they didn't want to score more. Middleton has more athletes in the school than any team in the district but unfortunately they only play basketball. Can only imagine how good they could be!

Too bad that there are so many basketball coaches out there who won't allow their players to play another sport (mainly football) for their school.  It's rather selfish I think.  Way too many of those coaches have an over inflated opinion of themselves.

My comment was to basketball coaches in general who don't allow their players to play other sports.  I fully realize that Burkley has allowed some on his team to play football.  However, perhaps if more of Middleton's good basketball athletes would play football, the team would not be as bad as they are and they might even have a pretty good football team.  The people of Middleton deserve better from their kids than for them to possibly have the same attitude that you apparently have.

One day closer to Friday !!!! Hard to get the boys up for a team that's 0-5, but they know they gotta get better for a big playoff run ! Tigers better come strapped up and ready to get hit!
