Farragut 3. CAK 4. Bearden 5. Webb 6. Grace 7. Heritage 8. Maryville 9. Hardin Valley 10.Lenior City Don't know a lot about some of the teams. What do you think ? SouthernHighlander
Its imperative you put Gatlinburg-Pittman on this list. Hands down a better team than Fulton the past two seasons. More than likely headed to state barring any suprises one of the best teams in the region all classifications.

Sorry, but Grace is not one of the top ten teams in the Knoxville area. And neither is Lenoir City. IMO, a more accurate list would be: 1. Farragut 2. Fulton 3. Gatlinburg-Pittman 4. Heritage 5. CAK 6. Maryville 7. Webb 8. Hardin Valley 9. Bearden ........

That's why I said I am no expert. Just trying to get conversation started.

I do think Bearden will be better than you have them. I do believe Grace will be top 10. Grace beat Hardin Valley last year and Grace will be much better this year than last. But as I said time will tell.

Grace beat Hardin Valley last year and Grace will be much better this year than last. But as I said time will tell. I forgot about Grace's win over HVA last year. If they really will be better than last year, then I apologize for doubting them and maybe they deserve a spot in the top ten. I don't believe Hardin Valley lost much from last year and I believe they could be one of the better teams in 4-AAA. I have to disagree about Bearden, though. I am just not sold that they will be one of the top teams without Erin Walsh. Another team to keep your eye on is Knoxville Catholic. I believe Hardin Valley may have even added a girl inside that's pretty good. The Jury is still out on Bearden but I saw them play this summer and still looked pretty solid. They have some good young players coming in but Walsh is a huge loss. I agree that Catholic will surprise some people also. I believe our schedule will help us prepare for an opportunity to get to State this year in single A after coming up one game short the last 2 years. We play Bearden, Webb, CAK twice, Catholic twice and what I believe will be a much improved Oak Ridge team.

Catholic has to replace their best player who was probably more important to them than Walsh was to Bearden. The Hopson twins have decided not to play so they also lose their top rebounder and another player that was All-district as a freshman. Post play should be solid but injuries may really impact perimeter play.

Brittany Scott showed that she could score in the Sole to Sole league but can she do it consistently and with the other teams best post defender guarding her as well. losing the Hopson's hurt and not knowing when Susan Kenny will returns hurts too. Ladyramshoop
Good day of play at William Blount Saturday. Grace beat a really good AA McMinn Central by 10 and beat AAA Hardin Valley by 20. Farragut looked good beating Oak Ridge and also played McMinn Central and won by 5.
