A couple notes, looks like a battle at 174. I'd love to see Newberg vs Mappes in the room everyday but I'd hate to have to be the one to pick who starts. At 184, Shrader tweeked his hamstring, as I'm told, and decided to drop out and not face injuring it further, you'll remember he tore it completely off the bone last year so I personally think it was a smart move by John. Gotta focus on the big picture. All in all good showing by our Mocs as they win the Navy Classic over some tough teams.

I was told he's still in trouble from something last year, but it should all be worked out soon.

I took a look at their roster, and there is maybe two behind him , I wonder why Newberg or someone else did not fill out the roster for the Navy deal this weekend at that weight class.  Plus Mock has already wrestled this year, so maybe he was injured or missed weight.

McCoy wrestled 74 and he's every bit of it, it'd be a tough cut for him. And my source is good, not injured nor did he miss weight.

Hmmmm.....you could be right then.  But he did wrestle already this year, so it would be kind of different to hold him out for something from last year.
