Mid TN is being bombarded with exposure camps promising college coaches and recruiting exposure. According to several coaches at the recruiting fair in Nashville yesterday these are just money makers for who ever sponsors them. College coaches rarely attend or get information from them. You want recruited make a high light tape and send it the colleges you want to play for and have your HS coach call them this will be much more effective than running the standard drills for so called scouts. Good Luck.

I was also present at the recruiting fair hosted by the Titians. I personally know that the colleges that are allowed by NCAA to attend these camps & combine use them as a recruiting tool.  On a fix recruiting budget, they are allow to view more talent at one location.  The NFL has their combine where its invitation only, but each NFL team sends scouts to a colleges Pro Day to view talent in person. I have been present at several camps & combines over the years. I have witness several college send their scouts to find talent at these camps.  I have several student athletes that were offered FULL RIDES to D1 Colleges due to the exposure from these camps & combines. This past winter I watched a last chance combine hosted by Gallatin High several colleges were present.

Any Player interested in competition and getting seen by college coaches.

Any Coach or Parent wanting their student athlete to gain Exposure.

Mt. Juliet Christian is hosting a camp/combine May 9th.

NPA is hosting a camp/combine on May 24th.

Correction Gallatin combine was not "Free" it was. It was affordable. I did RE-READ your post. It doesn't say "SOME" exposure camps. Next Level Training and MJCA did a goo job hosting their event. Several colleges were there to see middle Tennessee area talent in person. These college coaches were pleased to get a early opportunity to start recruiting this group of talent.  Coach Davis is an up and coming Head Coach at MJCA. We need more Head coaches like him.

The information posted on coach t by the Gallatin people said the combine was free.

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
