With some changes made and players lost where does everyone stack up???

A- I'm sure the road still goes thru Hampton even though they lost a lot!

AA -  East and Elizabethton ran the show last season, will they do the same again?

AAA - Crockett lost so much, is Science Hill back at the top now?

Coaching Changes???

The one I know for sure is Sullivan South and that just happened this week. (No replacement yet)

Other than that there are several that need to be changed and won't be... thoughts?

Rumor mill - Good to DB once Morgan gets gone... Sullivan North just don't care... South hire could be interesting ... Releford will run show at Crockett... Elizabethton and East will just recycle... Single A lost so much in area they will be done once regions get here.

Not my thoughts, that is what is said.... Many are probably true but its hard for me to believe Hampton Cloudland and Unaka are going to just fall off the map...

Hampton won't fall off the map...Not sure how this year's unit will mesh...Guess it just depends on who steps up to lead...If it's the wrong person(s) it may be a long season for the DOGS on the hardwood...BUT! What's coming in will be a force in another year or two..Just reloading

Hampton will be going to the woodshed this year.  Cloudland has acquired a certain transfer from a neighboring county who is an absolute force on the hardwood.  Hampton will be dominated :popcorneater:

I'll make the same statement here as I did about football in 2013...Better get it done this year, cause the talent and size coming will be more than you can bear. :D

You know as well as me that your biggest assets are those Benfield boys...

J.P. would make it interesting if the switch happens...But we have a couple now playing basketball that took last year off.

Should be interesting

Wont happen we graduated zero starters got every starter back and added 6-9 post to this team. Yes we lost some quality kids in those 6 seniors but none started consistnetly or owned a spot like the underclassmen did. So I like our chances NOT to visit Hampton.....we went 20-2 in Summer league (June) Team Camps

    • Understand the young thing.  I was one of those.  Barely 17 when I graduated from high school and started college.  But redshirting for athletic purposes isn't doing them any favors, in my opinion.  Life isn't always going to be fair.

    • The Girls Basketball team I am a part of played for a gold ball this season. One of the biggest differences in the sports is that there is no field prep/maintenance in basketball.   Our baseball is successful and play 30 games in the regular season as well. All of the teams dedicate A LOT of time in preparing for their next opponent.
    • Im pretty excited about the new rules that NFHS voted to adopt. Does anyone know if this will take place in Tennessee starting this year? I think I heard/read somewhere that the TSSAA bi-laws say they have to mirror what the NFHS does, and when the NFHS offered the current weight classes as options, TSSAA didn’t adopt them until NFHS made them official. Did NFHS make these changes official starting next season or will it be similar to the weight classes where TSSAA doesn’t change what they are doing until it is  an officially official part of the NFHS rule book? It’ll be interesting to see if it is rolled out for the new TSSAA Middle School season and I saw a post where the youth wrestling in TN was going to vote on adopting it as well.  I’ll pray for all the youth coaches that will have to shoulder the confusion from all those crazy #### parents who already think they know the rules more than everyone else  . Imagine the first time their kid is taken down and a 3 goes up on the scoreboard or their kid gets pinned with only one point of contact in the cylinder. Their heads might explode. i kid, I kid. Sort of. I’m surprised ride time was brought down with all the other changes. I know some argue that it promotes stalling on top, but its been an official scoring method in college forever, so I figure it must be doing something right. Do any of you think that’ll ever be implemented?
