They appealed it because when cutter got that last foul it was his fifth foul. So they told him he was out. Everyone on siegel's bench thought he was out because of the fifth foul. Lavernge's bench thought it was an ejection. They decided to appeal it because they said the ref never made it clear about him fouling out or being thrown out. But idk... i could be wrong.

In the white county-siegel game tonight. I think i'm going to have to take siegel by 3. that is only if we make our free throws down the stretch.

Have you seen cutter play this year yet? If not then think before you post. Cutter has grown up and matured over the year. He knows that he can't go to indiana state and be a "cry baby" as you say. He doesn't complain nearly as much as he used and has become a more team oreinted player. However he did a flagrant called on him due to emotions running high. I'm not sticking up for his actions on that play because he should not have let himself lose that much self control. But come on, give the guy a break this year.

Anyways, yes cheering sections in the past have been much better for us i totally agree. there are a coupld of die hard fans still here who try to get the guys to paint and cheer but all the other guys think they are to cool for it. How are we supposed to change that? You can't make someone do something if they don't want to. so don't sit here and say we all don't try because some of us do. It's just not like previous years. However, I am not and have never been one of the major ones to yell and scream every single game. I prefer to sit and focus on the game. unfortunate. another big blow to the stars. however riverdale came out and seemed like once again that they wanted it more. nothing you can do or say can take that away. unfortunately they had to play a man down for the game. it's always a bummer to see that in a district final. congrats warriors.

It's her opposite knee of the one she hurt earlier this year. It is a torn acl and is worse than the previous one. Please keep her in your prayers. She is very upset since this is her senior year and she is out for the season.

Sorry. I didn't type it out how I meant. Sometimes I forget this is a message board, and just like texts, you never know how the person is coming across or implying. What I meant, and this follows what blazesoccer said, when anna left the game maggie dropped to sweeper. The first 15 min maggie was man marking becca and to me she was doing a heck of a job. Well, after she had to play sweeper and no one was there at stopper to be able to stop becca. And that's not putting my defenders down. That's telling you how I saw the game from the stands. Maggie is one of the best marking backs in the area. He could have dropped Kim but that would have taken away our offensive attack. And by having winn at centermid, because he had to, it affected the offensive attack to. I'm not making excuses. Yes, riverdale played a great game and won. I give them that and i'm not taking anything away from them. However, no one can deny that winn is there biggest offensive threat and by not having her at forward decreases offensive attack.

They were without one of there best centermids and all-district defender. Anna only played the first 15 min. You do realize that riverdale got nothing when she was in? Then the stars got scored on twice on the freshman keeper? I truly believe that if Siegel has their full team playing it would have been a much better game.

Not really sure what happened. I saw that siegel's starting centermid brittany miller was not playing. Nor was she anywhere on the bench. Anyone know details? The entire lineup seemed to be switched around and no one seemed to have any intensity. I'm wondering if it was a difficult blow and the team wasn't prepared but I have no idea. Bad news. Anna Grace Gerhart went down in the first 15 mins and looked to have hurt her other knee. She did not play for the rest of the game. Hope she is ok. Also, starting keeper sydney dewberry went down in the second half on a great save. But she also did not return to action for the stars. Freshman claire stampley went in for her. I hope everything's ok with the stars. It looks like there are alot of problems going on right now. Hope they can fix them.

Well apparently they didn't play defense well enough against her. I'm telling you. If you keep one person on her the entire game then she can't do anything. Perfect example: Maggie Trollinger of siegel last year. She stayed near her the entire game and annoyed the crap out of her. Did becca have a good game that night? nope. but hey, what do i know. I'm also pretty sure that senior night played a big part. It was an emotional night and I'm sure the wildcats probably started out slow. but hey, i might be wrong. I wasn't there.

Kim at forward? idk. that could work out. Winn could probably play anymore and do well but from what i've heard when shelton played her some at centermid, she doesn't like it very well and doesn't think she plays very well there. But before anyone gets on here and thinks that's a cocky or disrespectful comment from her doesn't need to think that. because she is no way cocky or disrespectful on or off the field. just her thoughts on playing a different position she's never really played. why mess her up right before she goes off to college to play for the vols.

How's smyrna doing? are they "back" like you said? I know they lost to riverdale but what about other games.

Wow.. hey laban, you are all over Kim right now aren't you? Or it could be the fact that you used to coach her. But w.e it is it's a little strange. Yes siegel is on a roll and no Kim is not "playing forward or something as of late". She is playing centermid where they need her and is making a huge impact for the stars. The stars have a better defense now that gerhart is back at sweeper and trollinger was able to move back to stopper. If you put kim back on defense, who are you going to put in at centermid for her spot? That's a very vulnerable postion and kim does a great job. So let's just chill out on the i love kim act ok? k, thanks.

Oh wow. You got her there. Yes, it was 4-4-1 but I believe Siegel's games were of much higher quality teams than cookeville has played. So instead of jumping to conclusions and thinking that she is trying to put your team down how about you chill out. She was just asking a simple question. But the Siegel cookeville game is the tuesday after fall break. We will see who the better team is then. Ha. Glad you think you know what I and/or other people are trying to say in out posts. I'm just giving my honest opinion of the game. If you don't like it, well, get over it.

After seeing siegel play against blackman last night I was not impressed by their intensity. It seems that this year that the stars play well and intense against very good teams but seem to play down to other opponents. Maybe this will be a wake-up call for the stars because that game should have easily been 4-5 to 0. Not to take anything away from Blackman though. They are starting to get back up to their strong play from several years ago with the Kirby cousins. But they have always had a defense. But for the stars to go back to state they need to get their intensity up and start playing the way they are capable of. If so, they will be a very strong team once again this year. But yes I will have to agree with you sp15, that "rain delay" was quite funny. lol

Pretty bold statement. I am thinking (hoping) that Siegel wins. But by no means will WC not be able to match up with them.
