Haven't seen many of these teams play this year but the winning goal by the kid from farragut (don't know his name) this afternoon in the state finals was pretty sick. Outside of the foot that bent around the wall and into the top 90.

This was one of the best high school soccer games I have seen in a long while. As a resident of Murfreesboro I had no dog in this hunt. First, congrats to Farragut for winning. Congrats to Beardan also. You hate to see one team lose after a hard fought game. I understand why these teams are such fierce rivals having never seen them play before. This is the type of game you hope the state finals come to. I am going to go ahead and address an issue before upset bearden fans get on here. I was sitting on the bearden side when the final goal was scored. Many of them felt the game was handed to farragut because of the foul called. Which then led to the winning goal which was a fantastic ball that was hit with the outside of his foot that bent around the wall into the top 90. That is not the case at all. It was an obvious foul that the ref got right. However I do not think it was warranted a yellow. I believe he did that to try to keep the game undercontrol. (by the way, this was one of the better refs of high school soccer that I have seen. Most refs around here are pretty bad. This guy did a great job). Anyways, like I said it was a foul and I hope that people don't get on here and try to take away the great play of farragut by saying the game got handed to them. Not to say that Bearden did not have great play also. There defense stepped up at many crucial points in the game. Once again, congrats to both teams for making it this far and congrats to Farragut. I'm glad I was able to catch this great exhibition of soccer. Goodluck in future endeavors.

My all-time favorite would have to be kelme infinito. I have gotten a new pair the day of a tournament game and worn them in the game with no problems at all. You can put them right on and you don't have to worry about blisters. They feel as if they are already broken in. If you take care of them with leather food and such you can get around almost 2 seasons out of them.

Great game tonight pats. You executed well for atleast the first half. I loved how ya'll jumped out to a 15-17-19 0 lead. (can't remember wat it was). I will give credit to White County for stepping it up in the 3rd to get it down to 10 i think. If he has to JJ can step up and get the game back in control. That's also if he doesn't act like an idiot. I started with having an ounce of respect for him at the beginning of the game but when he started acting a fool, and fouling with the intention of hurting someone (it looked that way, might not have been) i lost all of it. Especially when he sat down with 5, the stupid stuff he was saying to the oakland crowd was uncalled for. If he could keep his cool he could be a good ball player. Both student sections brought alot. It was pretty interesting to watch. I was also proud of the way some of the siegel students came out to support oakland. We gotta support that 7AAA representation. Goodluck Pats and bring that gold ball home. I agree with SN07, the refs were consistently horrible on both sides of the ball. If you get tackled by 3 players it's usually a fould. Apparently when it happened to Maupins it wasnt. 2p, were they in the front few rows and in their mid 40s? If so, i think i know who you were talking about lol

I know that people were saying he had an aggravated knee but how did it go from him playing on it to him tearing his acl? Is it because he was playing on it when it was aggravated? If so, that's a bummer since he could have been sat and he could still be playing. Best of luck to him and I hope he gets back to original as soon as possible. Hopefully he will be ready for the first day of AP football practice. (doesn't seem possible but I hope) Congrats to Riverdale on the win over Oakland. I know you guys are psyched. Ok, whoever told you that must have been playing a joke on you. Yes, our song is pretty good(atleast I like it). But Oakland's song is tight (yes, I'm bringing back the old slang) as I don't know what. But it's pretty fye. All you hear is Siegel Nation most of the time i'll give you that but like Hoolie said, it has a reference to just about everyplayer I think. You just can't hear it because it wasn't laid down on the track very well. The guy who did make it rapped it at the homecoming game and you could it really well, and once able to hear the lyrics I thought it was pretty good. Hate on it, sure, because it was copied from Oakland's idea. I'm sure Oakland posters will have a hayday over it. But you have to atleast admit that it was good because not alot of people can rap an entire song and have it sound good. Most guys just sound like crap. And the inadequate sound system which we desperately need a new one.

Amen. Finally an informative explanation on all the other terrible attitudes in this district. Maybe people will get off the Cutter Hate Wagon.
