Pieratt can not pitch this week and may be done pitching the rest of the year. I do not know about batting but SC pitching has really hurt with their top two both hurt. Dakota Robertson has done good so far but errors are killing them. They only gave up one earned to Fairview and three of Northwest's fourteen in their lost there.

The first game on Monday was at Houston Co. The second game was at SC on Tuesday. SC was suppose to play a home and away game with McEwen yesterday and today but the games got postponed.

Wow a little harsh to be dissing on SC #2 pitcher this early. Dont judge him before he plays but he was hurt last year and is getting looks from college as a junior. SC started off the season with a sweep of Houston Co. Pieratt went 2-4 with a HR and 14 strikeouts in the first game. Second game they won 6-4 and played solid defense and hit the ball pretty well. Good start for the year.

Maiking the trip to Waverly tonight from SC to watch some good basketball. I look for CW to take it to Bolivar and represent 11AA. Harpeth and Sycamore should be a good one. I see Harpeth getting this one with Coach Wilson taking it right to them. Trey won't let this be his last game and against Sycamore of all teams. The same could be said for Dempsey but I thinik it will come down to how Harpeth's shooters do and the post defense of Harpeth/ I look for Dansby to step it up tonight and have a big game. But then again what do I know. Just make sure you don't let some SC fans make some all us look bad.

Great game. Thought I would make the travel from SC. HC outplayed CA in the first. Then CA came out in the third on fire. HC came out in the first half playin a diamond and one on one of the twins. They let CA shoot the three and they couldnt hit. I saw one of the best block I have ever seen tonight by ine of the Smiths on Skelton as it looked like he was going for a dunk. But back to the game CA was up by 6 with two minutes. Dillard hit a three. HC got it to one then got a steal and made two FTs to go up one. On the foul #5 from CA got his fifth and a tech. Cooksey made the two to go up one and Dillard hit one of two. On the inbounds HC got fouled and Cooksey made two FTs again. CA hits a three with seven seconds and calls timeout. They foul Cooksey with 4.2 seconds and he misses the front end of one and one. One of the Smiths gets rebound and shoots a 30 footer on the run and it hit the back of the rim. It looked in from where I was sitting too. All in all a very great game of basketball.

I never said SC would shut down Trey. He will get his points. I said contain him. Yes after watching the film SC played about the worse game they could have played at the time with their best player sick. In the first half Harpeth scored only nine points on SC halfcourt defense everything else was off turnovers and in transition. Harpeth is a good team but not 37 points better by no means. SC has beaten them once at home by 13 and yes I know its going to be tough being at the toughest place to play in the district. SC was down by 14 at the half at Harpeth with 19 first half TOs. They cut down on half its around a 7-8 point game and who knows. I am not saying SC is going to win or Harpeth will lose or is bad. I just think the game will be closer than most think and I am rooting for SC so therefore I picked them.

Creekwood vs. Cheatham Co.-Cheatham is the unlucky team to play CW after a lost. This one will be over after the first quarter. Sycamore vs. Mont. Central-This game will be close going into the 4th. MC will give it all they can but Sycamore will win by 8 due to FT at the end. Harpeth vs. Stewart Co.-According to everyone SC is a fluke. As Corso would say "Not so fast my friend" When SC played at Harpeth. 20 of 29 Harpeth first half points came off turnovers and Dylan Smith was merely 50% but gave it his all. Look for SC to give it all they got and look for a closer than expected game. SC has beaten Harpeth once. If they can contain Caruthers and get to the shooters watch out for SC. Upset Alert Fairview vs. Waverly-Look for Waverly to win this one in a close game. Leonard and Vogel will go off and Waverly will start to get their swagger back.

Sorry guys I haven't been able to check it lately but for Stewart Co here would be my team here with bench and role players. PG-Aaron Brigham SG-Jake West SF-Dylan Smith PF-Jared Lancaster C-Jacob Taylor Bench SG-Boone Smith SF-Lee Hargis SF-David Parr PF-Gino Bernal PG-Cody Wallace I have West and Smith on perimeter but they could play down low obviously. SC is not known for good perimeter players but more for post players.

Well SC has been looking good from what I hear around school. Pieratt signed with Columbia St. as mentioned earlier. Milliken, who is a junior, has gotten some looks here lately and will be a good #2. If SC defense can play good, you know Pieratt will keep them in most games.

Don't count out SC Rebels yet. They are still getting things in with the new coach and played by far their best game against Sycamore. They are only 0-3 in the district with 11 more games. Just because Waverly won by 20+ doesn't mean it wasn't a close game. SC was only down 3 at half and 6 with 2 minutes to go in the 3rd. SC has a big game at Fairview tomorrow night. Good luck SC.

Well yes I can see if from that point of view too but its over. Friday night SC got beat on a foul at the end of the game on a rebound at the other free-throw line. They called a foul as time expired. Let's just say sc getting any luck this year. But on the sportsmanship part sure SC may not have acted correctly but by no means are they a disrespectful program. Anybody that knows Coach Bramlett knows that he teaches respect and other life lesson to his players and all of his students. Everyone that has ever seen Coach Bramlett coach knows he is a darn good one with the numerous Coach of the Year Awards he has. To say SC does not have self control is not right in my opinion. They played a bad game and they know it. If you would have played bad you would have been upset but in no way should SC be labeled as a team that has bad sportsmanship. Anyone that knows SC program Bramlett runs knows that sportsmanship has always been in the programs he was involved with. In my opinion the thing that caused the biggest problem was the referee. After everything was settled and both coaches had already went to the locker room I gave Coach Kelly Bramlett the book. At that time the referee came back and started the whole discussion again after it ws settled. It looked like he was trying to get something started. That was the main thing that caused the whole problem.

Trust me I didn't get into I was just informing everyone from my point of view. I know referees make mistakes they are human. Just some are worse than others.

Well guys here right now is first hand evidence. I was keeping the book for the SC girls as I do at all away games and the referee told the women to not start the clock until he puts his hand down. Keep in mind this is the same ref that had already gotten into it with SC before. He did not put his hand down until after the first dribble and therefore she did not start the clock until then. I was over there telling her to start the clock because I for one saw when her finger pushed the buttom and it was obviously late. She then later said she did nothing wrong but the look on her face made it look like she knows she cheated those girls. However SC played like crap the entire 2nd half and should not have been in that situation if they would have executed. So I believe that since I saw it with my own two eyes that she stareted the clock late there is no doubt she did. Anyone that was at that game even most HC fans were waiting for the signal because they thought it would get called no basket. This is all from my point-of-view from the scores table right beside her.

I thought there was but couldn't find it. SC played good tonight against Bruceton. They finished strong. Good luck to everyone else in 11AA. SC has a week off then at Houston Co. the Monday after and then Creekwood home on Tuesday.

Well I didn't see a thread but how is everyone looking? Stewart Co. looked very good as their post play dominated and beat Clarksburg by 21 I believe. Taylor Gillespie and Monique Newman really surprised me as two up and coming sophomores. Alex Brigham and Christy Steele are going to do good as guards. Kylan Crain will play good from the 3 and Holli Crain will dominate the post. The team as a whole looked good. They might not be the most talented but they are definately the best coached team in the district. Coach Kelly and Brian Bramlett could go and coach almost anywhere in the district right now. Stewart Co. will be close in almost every game and I wouldn't be surprised if they upset some teams with their hard nose defense and dedication. With the senior leadership of PG Kate Jackson this team could surprise a lot of teams.

Coacht the Creekwood vs Stewart Co. games are backwards as Creek Wood plays at Stewart Co. on December 2nd and Stewart Co. plays at Creek Wood on February 10th. I tried to change the schedule but could not change it.

Why do you have the bones for SC? I know the defense runs out with a flag like that but I was just wondering why that instead of a rebel. But i like it. Very nice.

Well SC got a good draw being at home but they need to play good defense and not turn the football over. I think SC can throw the football on Goodpasture if they get the protection. Also I believe SC maybe needs to have a blackout or something. Come on fans show your Rebel Pride.

The worst Stewart Co. can do is 8-2. Also don't the top 2 teams in each region get a home game?

Yes I do sit on the bench but I no longer keep stats more of an assistant coach but schsbbfan I was in no way of trying to point out individuals. I was saying a couple of players that have stepped up that can really help this team. I know these players have a chance to achieve great things and also agree with you that they need to work as a team. I in no way try to intend it that way as I believe everyone on this team can contribute whether or be scoring, passing, rebounding, defense whatever the case. Obviously some players can score and others are very good role players but they all help the same. Oh and another thing I played basketball until my sophomore season and did not continue because I was not in good enough condition. I regret it and I am trying to do something about it. Right now though I am losing weight and and getting in better shape. Who knows I might eventually play again. Do I want to? Maybe, we will see how things go from here but sorry if i upset you. Oh and by the way it would've been nice if you didn't call me out.

Oh yeah another thing M. Ward, E. Wallace, and Z. Davis could also make an impact. Also schsbbfan I respect every player on the SC team as I know them personally and just a question. Why would you single out one player? It is obvious who you are talking about. Are you somehow close to them? Well anyways good luck to SC and the rest of D-11AA

I know who SC has and who the good players are. I am just saying the players that can make an impact that didn't last year. SC has several players returning in the Smiths, Earhart, G. Wallace, C. Taylor. I also know that this team is working hard and can very easily achieve great things if they play hard and smart. Oh yeah also another thing at the beginning of the thread the first post asked for predictions and I provide stats with my predictions. So I am pretty sure that I know basketball and what I am talking about as I have been around it all my life.
