From watching this video I believe this kid could make a lot of noise in the OVC. Also from watching this video, J.Hurd is going to have a freaking field day. I see what you mean but in all honesty I dont believe his height will keep him from being an effective RB.....

I think he will be w/ 10-15 pounds of muscle added to his frame, I dont see his height being a hinderance really; I have seen some really good RBs at that size. Its all specualtion though, I am sure he will be successful whatever position he ends up playing. I would personally like to see him play RB b/c I believe he has a chance to be a really good 1 no matter where he plays provided he can stay healthy.....

Boo hoo, lol, I remember this kid being a beast as I watched both of his state championship perfeormances on tv. I enjoyed very much watching this kid in action.....

I dont know about that but from a complete football standpoint as I was at the game last year at MJ purely as a hs football fan w/ no dog in the fight I will say WH had excellent containment on the ends and very fast, athletic, LBs who had great pursuit from the inside out. Also, the corners really came up stuck hard while tackling well. The bottom line is, no matter how good you run the wing-t, this kind of defense w/ this personel is "built" to stop offenses like that. It doesnt matter how much you try to get that corner, there is just too much speed from the inside out and for the wing-t to be successful it needs that corner, it wants that corner, it simply cant have that corner (in my Jack Nicholson, lol). Anyway, to have a chance they will also need to pass which they have not done very often.....

I have no dog in the fight and also pick WH to win this game, but a supporter coming on here w/ a defeated attitude talking like it is unrealistic to act like they have a chance to win this game? That sir is truly sad, this ladies and gentlemen is the 1st step to losing.....

I am not saying you are wrong but at 6'3 210 pounds his frame could stand to pack on 10-15 pounds w/o losing any speed/quickness/agility, which at that size would make him a beast at RB even on the college level. This of course is just specualtion but I believe there is a good chance 1 of the schools courting him sees this as well.....

I believe Hurd is the better offensive player and Maybin-Reeves the better defensive..... The bold is funny, NE has been on a roll playing really good football and lost by 1 point to the top ranked team in 5A in the quarter finals where as HC lost in the 1st round to a team I cannot recall at the moment...... FASH FACT: No one is interested in hearing excuses as to why HC lost in the 1st round..... I am not even saying HC could not beat NE if they had played again, but to say it would have been ugly is off base. I guess that means they would have beaton Beech too and it would have been ugly (maybe 1 point less ugly).....lol

FYI, I am not w/ NC and share the same opinion of private schools (in general) but not all as you do.....

This is the case w/ NC unlike some of these private schools that pay big bucks to get the big name coaches and miracuously are playing for a state title and are nationally ranked within 4 years. They might as well just be football factories b/c students are not going there for academics or religious purposes.....

That sucks if the Siegel QB is out, the same thing happened in last yeays semis against Riverdale. If the Siegel QB can play this should be an excellent football game, if not, I am not sure b/c I have not seen their backup QB. Siegel is more more equipped (at full strength) to compete w/ Maryville (than Riverdale) b/c they have a more balanced offensive attack and play good defense.....

MJ is playing good ball right now, WH is/should be the favorite but I am interested in seeing how MJ plays them this year.....

Championship/play-off exp. is to be accounted for; Milan is accustomed to play well in big games (w/ the exception vs. Alcoa). I believe this will be a won by 2 TDs (probably 1) at most regardless of the winner.....

I will go against the grain in this 1, NC is not in this position very often (if ever?) so I believe they will play w/ urgency and pull off the upset. It is surprising what fear will do to somebody, in this case, the fear of not making it this far again for a long time.....
