NBC's Tim Russert Dies- Heart Attack
ERA replied to CoachT's topic in Politics, National Issues, & Controversy
A man that could see both sides and reason from the middle. A rarity indeed. Meet the Press was my Sunday morning ritual as well. Can NBC replace this icon with someone capable? -
GALACTIC PLANE More things to think about.... /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

As I've said before, we could see this coming over the last several years yet our government had NO plan. Hope that makes everyone feel real secure and that our government has our best interests in mind. Vote All The Rascals Out! Nothing but Scorched Earth Policy to all elected officials that either has his hands in the till (earmarks) or was in a position to be able to do something about it. A reactionary company sinks within the first two years of operation. A proactive company has the best chance to survive. In my opinion, the republicans don't deserve a single seat. The grown ups that took over in 2000 have gone on vacation robbing juniors future and left the kids to fend for themselves. This is the same situation as a child going to court and suing his parents for abandonment. Personally, we are in great shape to weather the fuel crunch. But, the most families cannot. If you think the bankruptcies were going bad before, just wait a few months and watch them double while homes repossessed by the banks will go up again. Judging by past practices, people will let the mortgage go under before they do without their leisure driving. Food prices will sore yet again. The beginning of the seven years of tribulation....pass the seal!

Hillary as Independent Candidate
ERA replied to ERA's topic in Politics, National Issues, & Controversy
Now that is a hoot! The greatest switcheroo in political history..... gosh.. can you imagine the press with that marriage? /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> -
Hillary was about five states late in making her run on O'bama. Once the news began to pour out about O'bamas pastor and his wife, his numbers fell. If not for the early part of the campaign, Hillary would be the first democratic presidential candidate. Could she win as an independent? Obviously, a lot of people believe so.... Blogs, News & Opinions Will she wait four more years and run again betting that O'bama falls on his face or take the No 2 position and wait 4 to 8 or even 12 years. I believe her time was now and she knows it too. The temptation to answer the "Independent" call has to be alluring. Probably not going to happen but can you imagine the ratings with her back in the race? /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

Obama and family resigns from church
ERA replied to ELA's topic in Politics, National Issues, & Controversy
What your sister's pastor did was behind the scenes and closed doors. I'm sure he wasn't professing his faith in pedophilia at the church..........or maybe he was? If so, then it is the same thing and your sister is just as guilty as Obama! /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" /> -
I'm tired of the CRAP from BOTH parties. Open borders, spending running amok and our freedoms undermined by the political elite. Fuel has nearly doubled in price in a year and our leaders that have set us up to be dependent on oil have done nothing to plan for this day....NOTHING! A war that's cost us more than our nations debt for a year and for what? A final admission that they were wrong? I've voted Republican most all my life and was won over totally by the Reagan administration. THIS is not a Reagan administration. It is a horse of a different color that I cannot and will not support. Nor do I support anything that the Dems have to offer. If there ever was a time to send a message, it is NOW. I don't know about you but I'm looking for something different that comes closest to our Constitutional rights. Here's a Vid that makes some sense... Ron Paul Let's all start looking for our constitutional rights and bring those that think "Inside The Box" to our forefront. In my opinion, we're doomed politically and financially with the current choices. The parties that we held dearly to our values, both Democrats and Republican have left the building. We are no longer in charge. It's time to SLAP them where it hurts by voting all the rascals out. There will be pain for there is not a single politician to fulfill our needs but the populus has to send a message. What message do you want to send?

Trip to Lowes, trip to Home Depot.... Trip to Walmart... Trip to Tree Nurseries... besides just riding around the country enjoying the green spring. Isn't america great?!

I call your quote an ELITIST attitude. Most people do know ELA. I don't know what circles you run around in but they must be living under a rock. You've been blowing OBAMAS skirt up so long that now you think and talk like him too. /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" />

This thread is about as pathetic and redneck as it gets.

I'm jealous!!! /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> Nooney, you ought to consider running for local office. Your a man that I would respect in office and would most certainly vote for. Heck, get Dandy as your campaign manager and Tex can be your body guard. Ela can be your publicist and I can sit back and watch the circus.... /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> Nooney : The man of all people.

Congratulations Coffee County. You had a turn around season and you are on your way. Represent District 8 with greatness. Go Raiders.

You girls were a surprise to most this season when Cathryn went down. You should hold your heads high for the support of your fans and the support you gave each other to pick yourselves up and carry on the great tradition of winning. It's been the kind of season for you to draw from and learn. Take time to think back over what was supposed to be, what hurdles you encountered and what you accomplished as a team. You may never have as great of opportunity to draw from life how you dealt with the roller coaster ride of events this season that eventually will make you a better person and better competitor. We're all proud of you as well as most other teams that had you to represent them in the tourny. Work hard and you will grow to new heights of abilities while achieving a mental toughness from the end roads of a battle tested season for all of you are returning and I would say that your return will come with a mission. A mission of determination and the WILL to accomplish the goals you set for yourselves. Go Warriors /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" />

Congratulations Lawrence Co! It's been a long time for Lawrence to go this deep in regional play.

ERA replied to ELA's topic in Politics, National Issues, & Controversy
Texas, you hit it right for "Lack of choice" Also, as Baldcoach pointed out, my intention of calling them idiots was not intended to be construed as a slam for those that vote in this election. (Glad you tenderly pointed that out coach /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> ) but, I'm frustrated to my wits end as to why we end up with these three. McCain... rebel I like, but as an inspiration to the masses.... he's crap. Hillarys' past is all I have to say and Obamas' ties to unscrupulous types including his wife, well, that says it all. Again, I totally apologize for the way that may have come across in my previous post to you Tex and all others. I believe our country deserves better. I want MY COUNTRY BACK!!! /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" /> -
GOP is being CRUSHED in state races!
ERA replied to ELA's topic in Politics, National Issues, & Controversy
Got NO PROB with Nooney not voting. Three idiots vying for the job. This is ALL we get as contenders for the most powerful job in the world? I don't blame anyone to not vote if they so choose. Perhaps, the real question should be; "Why is everyone voting for idiots?" /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" /> -

As luck would have it, maybe that should be prefaced with "bad", NASA is going to make an announcement this Wednesday of a discovery that they have been searching for more than 50 years. The nature of the discovery will be announced but the timeline coincides with the search for Planet X. We can only guess this conclusion. Dark matter has also been a wild card search for NASA as well. The observatory that discovered it is named CHANDRA. It is an X-RAY search system that was also highly touted by the MARSHALL MASTERS website. His website claimed to follow the money if you wanted to know just what NASA has been working on and the video gave over thirty major projects of satellites and observatories that were ALL focused on one part of the solar system and on out through to a point in our galaxy. CHANDRA was known to have the best hope for finding Planet X because of the particular wave lengths that it monitors. The fact that the announcement will be played only on NASA's channel gives pause, but I'm sure whatever the find is, it will make its way to the public media quickly. CHANDRA Announcement CHANDRA YOUTUBE As in this site; Black Hole in Center of Universe Discovered

Alice O'Brien: An Incredibly Amazing Athlete I've been around this game for nearly twenty years and never have I seen a high school softball player with as much talent at the plate as Alice O'Brien. Most know that I was batting coach for well accomplished travel teams. This kid is the real deal. The form and power are absolutely textbook unmatched by any player in the midstate for quite a while for a player at this age. Though not hulking in size by any means, the power comes from the technique and confidence in the swing. She is one of the very few that buys into "FORM" over power and the results are that the "FORM" gives you the power and higher percentage of contact with the ball. For all of you girls in middle school that want to be a power hitter, Alice O'Brien is the epitome of the "PERFECT FORM". Take Notes. /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" />
