  1. Gotta be 5-10 or 5-11. He was standing by Richard Harb, former CAK QB, who is 6-1 and he looked to be several inches shorter. He's got a lot of upside if he would get in D1 training or similar. He'll know after the first camp or so if he's D1. Uphill battle with his size. Great HS passer.
  2. Go Tigers, best of luck to you.
  3. Grainger has a special player in McBee. He can take over a game. Union has greatest overall team talent. Claiborne has a good backcourt. GP is peaking at the right time and are playing great team ball. Gap has players and could catch fire. PF is still a question mark but could be dangerous. Should be a great tourney. Lace em up guys.
  4. GP came out in second half, Taylor Ogle to Matthew Pittser long pass for TD. 13-7, Pittser has another 30+ yard TD run, 20-7. Grainger drives down field, 4th and goal, Taylor Ogle breaks up pass, GP takes over on possessions, drove down field ran out clock, GP 20-7. GC played hard.
  5. Your own team's player (lineman) is a verbal to WKU. Or is he playing the wrong position too? Maybe PF Coach should consult you before he fills out depth chart if you're not filling up your car traveling to road games.
  6. Well stated. GP was up by 2 with 7 minutes to go ball on 8 yard line getting ready to score. We let big plays kill us. Happy Valley deserved to win. We were humble before the game as we are every game. We do, however, expect to win every ballgame because that is GP's tradition. We won 11 last year including two from boys from Harrogate.
  7. (Rivals) Tennessee Varsity rates him in the top 75 players in Tennessee along with PF lineman.
  8. Calm down, there, sport. Your blood pressure's raising. I'm sorry about assuming that you are a Christian. It was really a figure of speech actually. My apologies, I should not have brought denominational theology onto this webpage at any rate. My bad. I've read your posts, but didn't you want to inch ole CPA up a little further on the chart even though they have 2 losses this early in the season??? Now, come on pal, we can read between the lines.
  9. It really doesn't matter, sport, what you or I say. No doubt, you would like to rate CPA right behind Alcoa or perhaps even ahead of them if truth be known. Look at Alcoa's run to the championship last year and look who scored the most against them in that run. There's a few teams that can play in ET in 2A ball, just like there will be more folks in heaven than just the Presbyterians.
  10. PF looked better than in the past. They'll win some games. GP has a ways to go, waiting for a break out game. Maybe this week.
  11. Last year, this year, won't play next year, it wasn't pretty, we could have played much much better, but a W.
  12. What are the enrollments for each school?
  13. No, I really don't think so. BTW, the Virginia team, Thomas Walker, lost this week to a team that has won just over half of their games the last three years. Should be a good game, very close. SG 14-7.
  14. Hey, not trying to be difficult here, but one less GP throw and its 27-0 and a much, much different game. Where's Sweetwater below:(....you guys will be OK but sound like a lot of infighting. http://unauthorized website/content.asp?CID=840139
  15. It was a tough game. The game couldve been much different. That interception return was a 14 point swing, so we were 1 play away from 27-13. Our QB missed 2 passes but must have had close to 100 yards rushing playing tough. Our D line was awesome. My man Dylan played like gangbusters so did the Horner kid. SQ looked better than last year however and I predict will win games this year. By the way, replay showed the QB was down on the last fumble according to one of the coaches. Good victory. Go GP Middle against Seymour Thursday!!!!!
  16. Didn't Shipley play some QB in the second half of the GP game last year?
  17. Always a close one. GP didn't play well at Seymour but played better against Heritage and their starters in the Jamboree. Then Seymour loses to Heritage. Go figure.
  18. How's CG's quarterback. He seemed to have several problems in the Mountain Thicket last year.
  19. I hope Tellico gives them a game. The last thing GP needs is poor competition. The line looks a bunch better and the sky's the limit with them. There is so much talent on the line. They can be special before year's end.
  20. Gatlinburg Pittman, 500 yards in total offense in playoffs. Hodge and Cobb were matchup problems. GP scored mid 30's against Alcoa, but it was out of hand with our two top tacklers not playing and with Alcoa's speed. They're a great team year in year out.
  21. Ask Alcoa who scored the most points against them in the playoffs last year. Gatlinburg Pittman can play ball, should be in Top 10.
  22. Should be good. Some new offensive schemes, highlighting their weapons. Young line with some impressive players. Weak schedule in spots may hurt post season readiness. Will be a fun team to watch. Will be a difficult team to defend.
  23. probably same way. coach puts up number of players other coaches vote on them. why didn't some of gap's better players get in? and how did gap's coach make it????
