No. The part of your senario that is missing is that one of either Alcoa, Kingston, or Loudon would have to beat either CAK or Stone and then Scott would be second with the tie-breaker. If both CAK and Stone got another defeat then Scott would have been first, because Scott wins tie-breakers with everyone. However, none of this first or second talk matters now because Scott was upset at Loudon tonight. They do still have a very good shot at third if the can finish strong. That said, Scott has been playing very good ball as of late, but stumbled tonight.

Stone at Scott County moved from Friday 01-29-10 to Thursday 01-28-10.

My guess would be that in Quad 2 it would be as follows: Top half: #1 Alcoa & #6 York #5 McMinn & #7 Loudon Then bottom half: #2 Polk & #8 Kingston #3 Austin East & #4 CAK All four dist. 4 teams are opposite each other in the first round. Dist. 4 Champion and runner up are in opposite sides of the bracket. Both Dist. 5 teams are in opposite sides of the bracket. Dist. 4 Champion gets a lower seed than Dist. 4 runner up. Dist. 5 Champion gets a lower seed than Dist. 5 runner up. Overall #1 is away from over all #2 and #3. This is my best guess and... Of course this is if the rest of the season goes as predicted. I strongly agree with you. If it's not broke, don't fix it!!!... And I don't like it.

Might want to check that... according to the minutes, if there is only one team from a class in a district, then there are no automatic qualifiers for that class for that district. That means that JCM will have to finish 1st. or 2nd. over all in their district or qualify as a wildcard. So there will only be 23 for sure locks. Also in district 3, Pigeon Forge is not listed. I have read that they are going to play up into 4A, but the state website still has them as 3A. Likewise, in district 6, Hixson is listed but on the state website they are listed as playing up into 4A. Do you have any insite on where for sure those two schools are competing, 3A or 4A. Thanks.

Also good to hear about the "classic" addition, hopefully the crew takes right to his guidance. Kaz or P22 are by chance refering to RW? If so, I think that is a step in the right direction.

Congrats to the HMS boys on an impressive victory. The championship game should be a good one, however I like the HMS Bears to win it. They are playing very good basketball right now.
