Just wondering what are the qualifications for the city prep? We tried to get in but didn't, however we had a better scoring average than some of the other teams and beat some straight up. Is it political or what? How did East Hamilton and Cleveland get in? Maybe coach Holwerda can explain. More to follow.

Congrats coach Crowder. A good high school coach who knew what it took to get the job done. His main claim to fame was when he openly threw a game to stay out of Bradley's bracket in the region. Who cares about ethics it got Rhea County to the state tournament.

There is a big difference in middle school and high school bball. Playing in a district that has teams like howard and east ridge are a little different than playing seq, middle and jasper middle. Almost every team has more talent than you so you better be able to coach. Coach Cagle will do a fine job after he realizes what he is dealing with but there is an adjustment to be made. What we all have to realize is you cant win the kentucky derby when your riding a mule.

I will tell you right now. Our coach cost us a big game when he missed 4 straight free throws at the end of a game! He should be fired!

We know you are not on the field playing but are you coaching at sequoyah or Central. This tactic has been used often to pump up ones own team. Hopefully no one on here is dumb enough to beleive he is from Polk and beleive me if he is the football players will know it and it wont be pretty. By the way if you go to Polk who are your teachers?

Coach Davis will not let Polk overlook Sequoyah the game is to important. Revolution56 must be a Central or Sequoyah coach trying to get their team fired up. Which is it?

This was one of the best high school games I have seen in awhile. Great defenses, good sportmanship on both sides, and mutual respect by both coaching staffs. You just dont see this much anymore. Congrats to Polk on the win and congrats to Meigs on the effort. I dont see how either team has a loss with an effort like that.

Public schools get 1 or 2 players just as good as anyone the private schools get however public schools have a small area they get their players from when private schools get their players from all over the world. We don't tell our kids they cant compete but its hard to when the school you are playing has that big of an area they can draw players from. Why continue to fight this battle? Don"t go away mad, just go away and take Ronnie with you.

3 out of four baseball state championships and 3 out of four softball state championships were garnered by private schools. Its time for a change either by a total split, resignation by Ronnie Carter or, put all private schools in AAA and see how they do.Public schools have dominately favored a complete split other than the AAA schools who dont have to deal with private schools. I am not crying, private schools are better. They should be, they get to pick their students. Let private schools get zoned like public schools and lets see what they do. Their coaches dont work any harder, their players dont work any harder, but they draw from a larger tallent pool 9all over the (US). I am not whining, let private schools play where they will have competition in AAA. Now some of you private school supporters go ahead and say go to the public/private board. But you know what I have said is true and if Ronnie Carter had something bigger than bb's he would do what the people he is representing wanted. SPLIT
