I have heard that he has already taken a couple visits to knoxville. He already has the total package, he does not need much developing. He is an awesome player. I agree that he may be the best player in the state.

If Greenfield plays with intensity this week then they should not have a very difficult time with the Bulldogs, but if they come out flat, look for Gleason to hang around.

Did Greenfield look better than they really are when they beat Lake County last year 30something to nothing?

I don't think recent success has changed any thing. I heard that Greenfield had even dropped Dresden from their schedule. If anyone knows if this is true, please explain why after these two teams have played each other for ever.

How many Dresden players do you know? How can you call a young man dumb and slow without meeting hIm? Run-on paragraphs can come from not wanting to take the time to type it correctly. Maybe you are very gooD at EnglIsh, but yOu hardly know how To treat people who you know nothing about. Unfortunately you are not the only one on this board that tries to trash players they know nothing about just because they accomplished something that their own team probably could not. No you are not the coach and with the intelligence you use in this thread you never will be one other than to second guess from the stands. Another thing that is real respect to young athletes is the way you address them as big and dumb or slow and small, thanks for being such a role model on this board for our young people.

Thanks alot. This was a big win for the program and for Coach Rogers and staff who have suffered through a few years of less than superior talent. This shows what kind of job he does.

I do not know how you score your scrimmages, but you never got close enough to smell the endzone in the scrimmage against Dresden. You did beat W. Carroll 2 to 1 but Dresden beat you one score to none.

First of all, Mean Jean you poll was real close in this contest. Second, Beezer you really know your football; FINAL Dresden 14 and Humboldt 12 in a game that Dresden physically dominated and should have won by much more. [Edited by cdt on 9-7-02 12:34A]

If you are talking about1A only then one of the best I have ever seen is Jewel Flowers from Lake County.

He did not plead guilty, he pleaded no contest to driving while impaired and the other charge was put on a pretrial deversion. The suspended liscense was from forgetting to pay a speeding ticket in Shelby County, once that was paid, the liscense was renewed.

The private 1a schools in middle tn will need to realize that usj recruits well every year not just one or two good classes. If you want to compete with them year in and year out you will need to get back to the middle schools of Nashville and do a better job EVERY year.

How do you run up the score against a program such as Milan's? I feel like it was Milan's task to try and stop Westview, not Westview's job to start taking a knee in the third quarter. Milan has beat people by much worse scores than what they got beat last year, was they running up the score?

My prediction is a great game between two very good programs that happen to play in what is probably the most balanced region in west tn. My guess is Milan by less than one score.

Sounds like Greenfield missed a chance to set some scoring records, what were they thinking when they took out their starters so quick.

There is a new skipper in town and rumor has it that he is going to take this team all the way to the top. With his ability, who knows.
