Thank you Pioneer and hawksguy for calling Westview out. Everybody knows Westview dodges the good teams when they are loaded. Greenfield begged to play them even on their home court back to back years. Bucky wasn’t playing Greenfield. It’s sad that we played about every year until Greenfield had the upper hand. It wouldn’t have been much of a game (over at halftime) and everybody that knows basketball will tell you the same thing.

Westtnsportsfan why don’t you leave this thread alone. You must be a Westview fan hiding behind a screen name just like Brandon, it’s sad you can’t give our Greenfield girls credit. Please move on. This is suppose to be about Chloe and Tess not Westview.

I saw Gleason coach Sean Stepenson throw one to dodge Greenfield three years ago in the consolation game of the district and it backfired on him. It sends a bad message to your team and Gibson County blowed them out in the first game of the region. I couldnt believe it but he did what he thought he had too I guess but it didnt look good on him. Congratulations to Gibson County on a big win over Westview.

Tess had 17 points for the Lady Vols today and Chloe had 14 points for the #2 ranked Indiana Hoosiers. Never before has west Tennessee high schools had two girls starting and contributing to two Big Five power schools before. Brandon & westtnsportsfan - Please don’t knock our little school from Greenfield any more. We were Class A but still the best team in Tennessee that year of all classifications. Tess, Chloe & Edie are showing the world that that team was a once in a lifetime team. Three Division 1 players on the same team. Westview didnt want to be embarrassed that year and everyone that knows basketball knows they would have been. If you can’t say anything positive please move on this thread is not for you.

Westview lost to Union City that year and Greenfield had Union City 53-17 at half and the main team didnt play the second half like in most of their games their senior year. The Union City radio announcers were raving about that team and could not believe it right after UC had beaten Westview. Brandon you must be a troublemaker or just a kid just trying to start something, because you sure dont know your basketball.

Everybody knows why Westview Greenfield didnt play so dont go there. Even Westviews team last year or this year couldnt beat Chloe & Tess and that Greenfield team. Greenfield would have beat the Westview team in those years by 10-15 points (10 out of 10 times) Westview wouldnt schedule that game and I understand why. Its a shame that we didnt play each other but Greenfield did everything possible to get that game. We would have played at Westview. That Greenfield team will go down as the best West Tennessee team ever.

Trivia Question? Name a Tennessee High School team that has two players in the NCAA Sweet 16? Greenfield High School Both girls played great, I can’t say for sure but I don’t think that’s ever happened before. Way to go Chloe and Tess you make us proud!

So awesome to see our two Greenfield girls playing in March Madness for two big time teams. Chloe had 7 pts 4 rebounds and 4 assists in #3 Indiana Hoosiers win. Wow, two of the top teams in the state are from District 13. That’s awesome.

Westview by 15 Westview should walk through this tournament but you never know.

Makes you wonder what might have been? Anybody in our district could beat anybody this year. I’d love to see Dresden and Gleason match up again. I think every year our district will have two teams at state. Dresden will be the team next year, no seniors.

Good luck to Gleason Dresden Mckenzie and Westview. I was hoping to get to go up today but it just didn’t work out. I think Westview and McKenzie have to be the favorites. But lookout if McKenzie loses today I’m taking Gleason. Dresden very well could win the bottom bracket for an all west finals. Good luck I will be listening.

Maybe we need to close this thread, don’t forget It’s just a game. Refs miss calls you live with it and learn from it. I hate it for GC because I was for GC but things happen in life. GC will be back.
