Should have read most teams lacking stats are not having the strongest seasons. Some, I have never seen from them over a number of years.

Chattanooga Free Press has an online and print stat list that started skimpy this season but more teams began submitting after Christmas. Some go all out and give FT percentage etc and some stick to basics. Most of the teams, not all but most are not having strong seasons or are at the outer edge of the coverage area.

Who are some of the state's leading scorers? Around Chattanooga Emileigh Swafford from Meigs and Keely Frederick from Sequatchie both average about 24 ppg. Yes, would have had first and goal at around the 6 I think and probably would have been able to run time off the clock, at least kick a field goal. They never recovered from that, another thing which should improve.

CCS beat Signal, giving them their fourth loss. Sequatchie played nondistrict at Berean and won 76-42. I was worried about the gym size affecting shooting plus they are not a bad team, beat CCS once this year, but Seq made 7 threes in first half and led 48-17 at halftime. Hopefully they keep up the good shooting as theyre getting a lot of wide open looks.
