I would probably not play Boyd if Marion since they could be in same quad, or any other potential early round opponent. Central has a good team but is very inconsistent.

It doesn't matter if it's a team that's good each year like BBS, a building team like CCS or a team that magically got good again overnight like ND, they should all be D2. It makes no difference what Seq or any other public does against them.

Some may still be falling for the nearly 20 year old scare tactic of "get put into Division II, have to play Brentwood Academy football, etc." Now some seem to think "we would have to play Ensworth" when clearly that's not the case, or at least that's used as an excuse. If Notre Dame was in Division II again they would not have to worry about balancing on that thin financial aid line. Don't whine about travel either, with all in you'd have a good local football district with Notre Dame, Boyd-Buchanan, Grace, Silverdale, and Chattanooga Christian (who I predict will really take off now that they have a nice new stadium).

So? There is more to Division II than just the group with Baylor and MBA.

Sale Creek will be a team to watch out for before too many more seasons, just not this year.

I could go into specifics but that game was a couple of weeks ago, the point was that big of a margin in both games makes it hard to believe this week's Grundy game will be much different.

If it's that boring playing a rural school ND should have moved to Division II.

I can't see it being a game. I mentioned earlier how you can't necessarily compare past results but Sequatchie could have won 49-7 vs Grundy had Colquette not started clearing the bench early in the fourth. I think Seq is better than the final score at S Pittsburg but that and earlier Grundy game should give a good idea about Friday.

The dirtiest team I've seen this year usually has a very poor record, I don't think it's a coincidence (an "if you can't beat 'em, beat on 'em" philosophy).

They can do whatever they want not being a TSSAA member. I would not want to see a team miss the playoffs due to losing to them, in a tiebreaker.

Lead receiver from last year is no longer on the team. Quite a loss.

Sequatchie can't waste scoring opportunities like this past Friday. An interception TD return and a long TD run were both called back due to penalty and even if they looked like bad calls they still hurt as Seq didn't score after either. Another TD was lost when the ball was fumbled into the end zone for a touchback.

They are capable of winning the district. They're capable of remaining mediocre if players don't respond to the coach and if they don't get more consistent play from players up and down the lineup. Some freshmen could be main players off the bench or even start and if that happens older players need to accept that and work on improving their own game, not letting it be a negative.

Grundy had 1 TD vs Sequatchie. Every matchup is different.

There is no need to single out specific players.
