I love seeing high school fans comment on 40 times. The Tennessee Vols don't even have the speed the Pirates have. It's amazing how a player can run a 4.4 in high school then it suddenly turns into a 4.6-4.7 in a college combine.

I still think the secondary is sub par.

Voters obviously don't look at strength of schedule so it really doesn't matter. They have the same record but McKenzie went deep last year so they still get respect in the polls. TN high school polls are a joke anyway in all classes. Maybe, just maybe UC will get some more attention after Friday.

The more SF fans talk about SF having a chance the more of a scoring gap I think the game will be. Comparing UC to Fulton County and Fulton City. HA South Fulton would be 1-5 with UC's schedule.

I love how Union City still is not ranked after beating a 6th(i think) ranked McKenzie. Reminds me of 05 when Lake County was third in the region after week 10 and ranked but UC and McKenzie were no where to we found. UC then stomps JCS and Jo Byrns #4 and 2 respectively then gets demolished by #1 TC. Atleast the system is not like D1 college and have an effect on the post season.

Bowling is 4-0 in the series. He will stay perfect.

Being at OC the rebels will keep it close in the first half. Second half will be all Union City. I think UC's pass rush will create opportunities for interceptions.

He shouldn't have thrown up the guilty hands when trying to set the screen. I can remember in 2005 when the refs wouldn't call a holding penality for crap. UC D-ends had their jerseys pulled off their shoulder pads. When one was called at the end off the game the Union City fans cheered. The ref then turned around and grabbed his "insert body part here." Or how about this year at the Westview game when UC had Westview punting out of their own endzone the and its a bad snap. The punter scrambles and finds an open man down field, along with the other nine players down field. Single A officiating is horrible for the most part. But, I really don't know what could be done to help.

Are you serious? The punter got the ball off then got nailed. It wasn't even close. And a couple of the holding calls I saw UC linebackers get tackled by o linemen. Don't worry about it though. There will be a rematch, and it will probably be at UC again.

UC's ball security is horrible. I hope someone does something to fix it. UC did a good job of controling the pass by playing cover 4 the whole game. The more passing we see the more aggressive the coverage can get. It was a good crowd for homecoming, but I think McKenzie's fans dominated on volume.

Well as long as they are running UC will have a better chance. Its the recieving part that gives Unon City problems.

Great offensive game. LC's coach had a very effective plan with some good wrinkles. The skill players also made some plays. I think Julian Moss did have a pick, but something's gotta be done about the pass defense.
