I was in attendance for the throwback games held at Farragut High School tonight and all I can say is WOW! Free admission .50 cent hotdogs (might be .25 cent), retro jerseys, and a goofy announcer that looked like he came straight out of the movie Eight Men Out. Farragut did a great job hosting the double header (Karns vs. Bearden and Oak Ridge vs. Farragut) with I believe all profits going to charity. (I just went blank on which one) Ha anyways... the park was packed and the atmosphere unbelievable!! Also, every team showed they could swing the wood... Final -Bearden 1 Karns 4 -Oak Ridge 3 Farragut 13 Please let me know If these scores are wrong! I was at both, but my mind was on those hotdogs a little too much Ha.

Personally, I don't see how Farragut could ever fly under the radar no matter their record. I would also say the same for Houston, Oakland, Bartlett, etc.

Great post! It's always refreshing to read a topic that isn't bashing anyone. Also, I heard Farragut finally lost tonight. Ouch.. anyways my guess is it will be a wake up call.

I would also go ahead and say that both teams backups would start for most any team in the state, but again 13 homeruns is still a great accomplishment.

I was wondering if anyone knew how Jacob Wilson and/or Stephen Thomson have been playing this year? Also is Zach Allen from Farragut even playing this year? I heard he was messed up from football, so I thought he may have quit.

Wow I have not heard about the Farragut v. Science Hill game till now. I will hopefully catch that game.

From what I have heard..they cannot play that day. Ha but don't qoute me on that.

Dang has Bearden played anyone this year? I don't mean to bash them but they seemed a bit lost against the young lefty tonight. But I do have to say.. Halliday hit an absolute bomb tonight!

Congrats to both Farraugt and BGA.. from what I heard the tournament and ya'lls game went great.

Wow I'm really surprised I haven't seen many people saying Farragut on here. To me it's the best field I've seen in the state. The only thing it lacks is scenery(gotta love Kroger in the backdrop). Also, really like Riverdale as always and Cookeville. William Blount is also a great place to play!

im also impressed with the Farragut spread offense, however, the recieving core is somewhat weak..very young but still weak
