  1. I think Marion will jump ND and slide in the # 5 spot maybe even 4. Its Howard then everyone else tho. As for the 6'8 kid not being any good, he will surprise ppl. As for Guyear, he is as good of a guard as there is in the area, and what alot of ppl dont realize is the kid is a Jr this year, a Jr that was just 15 yrs old when the school year started, so he is just going to continue to mature and improve. But I hear when its all said and done, Guyears future is on the diamond.
  2. How did the Scrimmages go for Marion this weekend? Anyone give us some updates?
  3. Jurick for sure is the best. hands down. Heres a name to Remember 6'8" Soph from Marion Co. Cody Henager
  4. Great News, Well coached, hard nosed football team. yall deserve it.
  5. Well shows what you know, you didn't even mention the best Dukie in the league, Carlos Boozer. Then theres Corey Maggette then you got Mike Dunleavy who had 25 points 12 boards on opening night. Come on now if your gonna put Duke down atleast give us a lil credit, Boozer is a STUD.
  6. T. Robinson is a good ball player, But to put him in Guyears category at this point is laughable. Terrell would be the first to tell you this.
  7. If anyone has a good idea of how Bledsoe is goin to be its this man. Just a quick question, is Joe Thurman the younger brother of Bill Thurman?
  8. I guess you could say im a former coach, as for the scrimmage imma try to make it. I know Marion will be without a few of their football players, but they will have Guyear and Henager so we will still get to have a good look at them two.
  9. Yes your are probably right, its just hard for me to talk to much about Howard, it seems that you never know if the kids from last year will even be on the roster the following year.
  10. Bledsoetheboys, tell me what you think of Ridley and what yall expect from him this year? hows he developed? He's a great kid btw, raised by a great family.
  11. Im interested to know about woods also. wow I didnt kno the pg was an 8th grader last year, impressive.
  12. I would love to hear someone elses break down of the teams of the valley
  13. I think that although the Warriors are young they gained a lot of experience last year. I think Henager is about 6'8" now and Guyear is about 6'4" pushing 6'5". The Brocks kid has put on some muscle and I believe he is begining to understand the game better. As for Seq. I really like the kid, I dont kno his name, but I do know he plays the 4 most of the time and played AAU for the Chatt Thunder I believe. anyone help me out with a name? Anyway I think the jr PG Cartwright will really come into his own this year and be the next solid PG at Seq. ala Billingsly, Shoemate, Lowery. The one thing that can be said about Seq. is their going to be well coached, you can count on that. On a side note, Cartwrights little brother who is in the 8th grade I believe is a future star IMO. Bledsoe, well I know they lose a few from last year, and Degenerio ( i kno i screwed that name up) is a big loss. I expect that Ridley will step up and make a name for his self this year also. I think every year people count Bledsoe out, but they usually come out of what seems like nowhere and upsets someone. In no way do i think they will be the bottom feeders. Grundy, They lost both of their Big men, which will really hurt. They do return the Pg who can shoot if given the chance. I think teams like Seq and Marion will beat Grundy up down low, because Grundy's strength is their guards. I think that Zephan Guyear is the best player in the Valley. He and Cook are the 2 best guards in the district, Cook plays better defense hands down, and Guyear is hands down the better scorer. Some newcomers to look out for are - Matt Ridley, Bledsoe. Cartwright, Seq. Kevin Butner, Grundy. Terrell Robinson, South Pitt. But like I said in a previous post Cody Henager as a 6'8" Soph is goin the shine, and shine bright. Once Jurrick leaves Henager will step right in and fill his shoes as a D-1 recruit from our district. Him and Guyear together is what makes Marion my favorite to RULE THE VALLEY
  14. I think it will be between Mitchell and Dyer co. I would give a slight edge to Mitchell. Looked like a team with a good future. But I have always loved how well coached Dyer co. is. Darkhorse team - Howard
  15. I don't think Bledsoe will be at the bottom, when it comes to the teams in the valley. I'd Rank them like this...Marion, Seq, Bledsoe, Grundy, South Pitt, then Richard Hardy..... might not be the teams that are considered "The Valley" by some, but thats the teams I label as the valley.
  16. I will admit that I dont kno much about Seq. but i did watch them play about 5 times last year. I do know that Zephan Guyear is hands down the best player in the Valley and the Henager kid is a superstar waiting to happen.
  17. Seq. has showed me nothing to make me think they will "Rule the Valley". I would have to go with Marion. they now have experience. as for someone sayin we all need to focus on the chatt teams, well the teams do, but we are just fans, so lets us have some fun. Its just opinions.
  18. the best I have seen are - Jeremy Sexton from Temple. Zephan Guyear from Marion co. and Chase Dunn from LA. All 3 had really good soph. seasons.
  19. I expect great things from this Dyer co. ball club. Alot of talent and really well coached.
  20. Coach Wiggins has always been all class, great guy. Grundy appreciates you and the Notre Dame family.
